Does anyone know why the Barclays ticket link takes me to seatgeek.com but the MSG NYC link is through Ticketmaster? Is seatgeek legit?

 

I'm surprised how many people my age (late teens/early twenties) are excited about this tour. Some of my friends didn't really know the significance of Tom coming back, but most of my concertgoing/emo friends got really excited at the prospect of a blink/turnstile tour, even the ones that saw the Lil Wayne tour, and the people who do miss Tom have been losing their shit.

This tour is gonna do gangbusters, I'm certain.

 

Kinda crazy they’ll launch the a debut single without a music video, unless this one they’re shooting is for another single some months from now.

True. They’re more like Cheshire Cat b-sides. But the EP they’re on had Waggy, which is on Dude Ranch so it’s kinda in between. It’s interesting they brought Waggy back for Dude Ranch but not those 2.

 

I can say this announcement has gained SO MUCH buzz from people I know from high school/college who I’d view as more “casual” blink fans.

People are hyped and I’m so here for it!

 

You’d be surprised videos can be pushed out pretty quick and maybe it was filmed a while back too and they’ll debut it on fri too I’m excited

For sure. I remember a select few people I know who were excited the first time a reunion happened but they were ALL either “meh” on Neighborhoods or didn’t even listen to it. Then they were all playing California non-stop after hearing “Bored to Death”. Now they are all so excited for Tom’s return. I truly don’t get the logic but I’m enjoying the ride lol.

 

Video has definitely been filmed and edited together already. Everything we're seeing has been months in the making. The fact that they pulled off recording an album (if we're taking Tom's word for it), in complete secrecy and pretty much kept this under wraps is huge. This feels way different than before. Even with the leaks, everyone is still this excited. This truly is a moment in time to experience.

I'm a little high, so if this doesn't make sense just know my intentions were good.

Anyone notice in the promo video that them announcing a new song was very American Pie lol

 

Seatgeek is now the official ticket outlet for Barclays. They dont use Ticketmaster anymore.

I've never gone through with buying tickets since they made the switch but it just seems like a pain in the ass trying to figure out what are resale tickets and what are retail.

 

Whoever did this with the new song clips did a good job.

That's why I say if we take Tom's word for it. Hell if they want to write some more songs and throw them on there, take the time!

 

The 45 seconds of Edging we've gotten today has already grown like wildfire in my head. Finally the three of them on a song with the production quality they deserve.
