New song is legit happening, but I don’t know if we are getting that on Tuesday or like a month later+. New album next year at some point and I assume before the tour or during the tour.
Those are the only dates I know right now in sorry. I will 100% post more dates when they come to me because my musical integrity leaves itself at the door when it comes to blink.

  7. Haha. That’s what I tell myself. Also, I’m willing to admit there was a stretch from like when I was 18 to probably 30-ish where I didn’t like me. And I certainly don’t like who I was, now, looking back. So if someone had a bad interaction with me or whatnot, I don’t really begrudge them without knowing the context. Maybe I was in the wrong. Or maybe I banned them for doing something awful, who knows. Mostly I see it as a reminder of why I specifically choose the level of “out there” online I want to be, and a reminder to myself to try to continue to be the kind of person online (and off) I can actually stand behind and be proud of. #oldmanpoppunkfan

  15. If someone samples Blink, they'll appear as writers on a song in ASCAP. So, take that for what you will.

ASCAP is as credible as you get

  22. They'd show up as writers if they're sampled, or credited for a lyric, melody, sample, etc.

Performers is the place to keep an eye on in those databases IMO.

If someone uses an identifiable piece of a existing song (most likely a melody) in their own song, then it’s not “entirely” original music at that point. I can’t reuse the chorus of “What’s My Age Again?” in my own song without crediting them and listing them as “writers”.

  24. I figured it out. It’s been 10 years since DED. That must be what the “10 years” stuff was about.

Blink should put “sentient anal wart” in the liner notes/thank yous on the new album
