I find it hard to believe they would do a full album that is not Enema on what will undoubtedly be their most popular tour in over a decade. Fully expecting just greatest hits

Didn’t they play Enema in full a few years back at a festival and it went down like a lead balloon?

Was it a jazz festival or something?

I feel like this is underestimating how popular S/T is/has become. But yeah I'd stick to the hits on the first run anyway.

I guess it depends when you became a fan of the band. If you were a fan before the first break up and saw them live, watched the Chronicles DVDs and saw the MTV specials on the band I don’t know how anyone could say they weren’t best friends. Probably why the first break up was so shocking.

Post break up no one was sure they even talked off stage haha.

This is why I’m more hopeful than I was for the first reunion. The few interactions we’ve seen from them feel much more genuine now (like they actually wanted to be friends even without blink).

You couldn’t NOT notice a weird tension looming over them during basically every interview around the Neighborhoods era. It was pretty apparent that their relationship wasn’t healed yet but they plowed forward with blink anyway.

I mean we haven’t seen any interviews of them together yet, so this could always end up the same way. Just saying.

Revisited Untitled this morning and it transported me back to when it came out. Hearing Feeling This for the first time from the music video on their website on my friends big ass family computer. Going home and watching that music video on repeat and downloading it on Kazaa. Getting the CD from my seventh grade girlfriend the week it came out. Wearing out the disc on my off-brand Walkman on the bus. I’m so excited for this reunion.

    Die rad.

I dont. Self titled turns 20 in 13 months. Could do a 20th anniversary tour of it next year like they did for Enema with Matt.

Tom was on Mark’s radio show and it felt way more comfortable. Also just way more interactions on social media, the fact that they’ve mentioned talking most weeks and most DAYS before and after Mark’s diagnosis, etc. You don’t get the sense that they are walking on eggshells going into it.

  12. Is it fair to assume they’ve already done an exclusive interview or interviews with any publications? I remember when news broke that Matt was joining, they had already done an interview and photo set with a magazine

I think there has been a lot more thought into this reunion than the first, which seemed to happen very quick after Travis’s plane crash.

that’s Bayside for me because I’ve seen them multiple times because they always seemed to be opening for Alkaline Trio or TBS when I saw them lol

When Blink Played at Twitch Con it was at the Padres field and it wasn't even a quarter full on the ground, but that was for attendees only and it was late after a marathon day at the con. They would for sure need bands as popular as them or bigger coheadlining to bring a massive crowd. I think general audience people would be excited to see blink on a coheadliner.

SAME! They end up on so many lineups and I have unintentionally seen them 4-5 times in the last 15 years.

Re: stadiums vs. arenas talk….I am overly cautious so probably some projection here, but…we are talking about a guy who just nuked his immune system with chemo, and arenas vs. stadiums becomes an indoor vs. outdoor discussion in the time of covid. It seems at least possible it could be part of the calculus for them.

Turnstile are probably the most exciting band going at the moment. Seeing it live might help though.

Saw them headline this barrierless indoor fest recently and it went OFF

Wild world, into Holiday, into TLC to close out the set. ooooof. Watching this video, it would be odd to see them on a stadium tour without fans being able to jump on stage. Wonder what the energy would be like.
