Honestly, this will be a little random and sappy but I've enjoyed everyone chatting, posting theories, and goofs so much lately. It's been a lot of fun to watch a ton of people who love the same thing kinda low-key go nuts.

 

Brings back that Absolutepunk nostalgia

 

I have a lot of friends on Facebook sharing articles from not very legit sources about it. I won't believe anything til I hear it from the band themselves.

 

This is exactly what I was thinking about too when I posted it. Looking back, it's crazy to think about how long that/this site has been a staple in my life. Thankful for everyone!

 

Wait do we think they announce it early because of all the leaks?

 

Probably not unless actual tour dates leak

 

Yeah, even Bill Stevenson said that Blink is probably too big for him to produce. I'd kill for that combo right there though.

And I don't think anyone reputable is really reporting on this yet because when they all did a couple months ago, nothing came of it, making them all look completely stupid.

 

Bill would be a cool choice. He did an awesome job with Face to Face on Protection, capturing what made them genuinely special. I’d back that choice for sure.

 

Has there been a band that worked with Jerry Finn and then gone on too make a better record with another producer?

 

Off the top of my head, Green Day and Tiger Army I think both have better records after.

 

I don't even know if I actually have high hopes, but the thought of getting new music from Blink is getting really exciting. The hardest part is going to have to be waiting because I'm assuming nothing, if anything, will come until whatever tour they may be gearing up to announce.

Still, I'm stoked, and I hope the band is feeling happy too.

 

Correct me if I’m wrong but Jerry Finn was just an engineer on dookie right? He didn’t produce the record.

 

Made me check his wiki page for a refresher of all his works. Only 39 when he passed. Fuck.

I have to say I’m pretty impressed with Tom. We are (most likely) 5 days away from the announcement and Tom hasn’t tried to tease us with an announcement of an announcement of an announcement.

Our boy has grown up.

I’m just so ready to do everything we did from 2009-2014 all over again. It was so terrible, infuriating, and I literally am so exited to do it again!

I will be paying whatever it takes to be on the floor for a blink show with Tom.
