Was kinda hoping for the 9PM start time since I'm old and bringing my gf who likes blink but isn't as into them as I am..

Yes, but you are basically looking straight up at them. Where I was (barricade) I had to look up and back up a tiny bit to see them.

Loved the earlier times last night, having a long drive home.

Show was great. I think I'm probably in the minority of preferring the reunion tour a little over this one, if only because of the rush of adrenaline seeing them back together and happy for the first time and sounding so great. Loved hearing the OMT stuff, though.

When I got to Fenway, I did a full lap around the perimeter of the ballpark visiting all the merch booths trying to find the damn show shirt. They were sold out of every size but small at every single one. But, my trek allowed me to scope out which line was the smallest to get in. So, I hopped in one that was like, 15% the size of the others, got in about 2 minutes after doors, and was first to a merch stand that had plenty of the shirt in all sizes!

I wound up being dead center on the back rail of the pit, which was mostly a great spot. I did a quick loop around the stage to check for any guardrail openings, and when I didn't find any, I settled on back wall.I'm very short, so for someone taller, it would've been ideal all night. Still managed to see everything mostly without issue, though. The best part was that they used the same railings that are out front for security, and those little steps they use for crowd surfers make perfect seats, so I was able to rest my feet at will. Perfect pit experience for this 30-something.

Key word being GROSS. Not sure how much daily touring costs are. Would love to see that breakdown.

Not that the pit is huge, but you must have been directly to the left of me. I was nearly on the barricade directly in front of where Tom stands

Definitely very close! Probably within a few feet. I was at the narrowest section of the pit, being the dead center, so even though I was against the rail, there were probably only 6 or so people between me and the stage/rail. Plus, security kept coming through and moving people closer in to keep a walking path in the back for emergencies.

Hartford was dope! I somehow lucked out and found street parking closer to downtown and walked from there after getting stuck in some of the show traffic/the parking lot I prepaid $30 for being full..walked in 20-25mins before blink went on and even managed to grab a poster from the outside merch tent on the way in.

I think the highlight for me was M+M's but had a shit eating grin on my face the entire show.

Playing through the Rick Rubin Travis episode. Probably the best in depth descriptions of his production style. Cool to hear him in the weeds on his philosophy. I feel like most interviewers fawn over Travis, and this one is much more mutual respect and cool insights.

Last night I took my sister who is a very passive blink fan, it was her first blink show.

In her words, "I've never heard someone drum like that, let alone gotten to see them do it."

She left a much bigger fan than when she got there.

I know this won't happen, but I would love to hear one of those alternate versions of "One More Time" make the cut of the deluxe album. I think it would be cool to hear one of those heavier rock versions that they eventually decided against in favor of the ballad (which was the right choice FWIW).

Yeah I want that bad too and had the same thought during the podcast. Or if they let it get MASSIVE live kind of like the evolution of I Miss You over the years. It has been cool to see them close the show with an alt version that is another two minutes with huge guitars and a big drum part.

Overall it’s so interesting how restrained Travis was on the album as the producer first and drummer second. He touches on that a lot in the interview. Love that Edging started as him saying “Shuffles are always a hit when done right, lets build a song around it”

I know blink is intentionally not doing press right now, but I NEED a 40 minute + interview where they do a track by track of OMT. They did one for California with Matt and Mark and it would be very cool to hear everyone’s thoughts. Mark has been uncharacteristically quiet about throwing his thoughts in the mix on the songwriting and reflections on this album.

Yeah I am grateful for the range and depth of that interview. It is no doubt pure gold BUT I have an insatiable need for more lol.

Did anyone hear the new after school radio? Is it worth trying to find? I dont have Apple Music and the notable episodes usually make their way to YouTube eventually.

Undoubtedly the right choice, but I so badly want to hear the alternate version.
