Turpentine and Blink Wave are the best tracks on the record IMO

 

they would rip live

 

I mean they were playing a legit new song nobody ever heard before so I’d hope crowd reaction isn’t the only reason

 

Currently running through the entire discog including side projects this week in anticipation of my show

 

Anyone in here a fan of anything the Transplants did aside the debut?

 

It didn’t all land for me, but there’s a handful of songs from Haunted Cities and Warzone I really like

 

I saw Turpentine live at every Melbourne show, and it didn't get the best response. I won't say lukewarm, but in comparsion to Anthem Part 3, Dance With Me and One More Time, it sat well below.

I forced myself to like Warzone because it was the only blink-related thing at the time and because I wanted to meet Travis after one of their shows. A couple of songs are pretty catchy and fun, but nothing I could remember or sing right now.

Watching this right now for the 26th time

 

Watched this on my birthday this year as well as the lost Untitled documentary. Those streams were so fun.

 

This makes me think of all the bass playthroughs he was doing on Twitch a couple years back when he was trying to get his strength back. I'd kill to watch the Reckless Abandon one again...

Heads up on 20% off offer for the festival they are playing in Huntsville, AL this fall. See code in screenshot.

New festival with some big names but offering this kind of discount can’t be a good sign.

But they aren’t coming to the greater Atlanta area again on this tour so might pull some folks (like me) up there. I still theorize they were supposed to play Music Midtown in Atlanta this year before the festival pulled the plug.

 

Mark and Skye make an appearance for a few minutes on this weeks episode of the Kardashians. They hang with Travis and Kourtney on their yacht during the AUS tour earlier this year.

 

This ranking is bananas.

This is almost impossible for me being my favorite record of all time and thinking pretty much every song is great, but for me perosnally:

This ranking probably would have looked a lot different in 1999 when I hadn’t heard the singles a billion times, but it’s where I’m at today.

The Party Song being at 8 is probably controversial, but that’s purely a nostalgia pick. My childhood best friend that I used to listen to this album every day with and I thought that song was the coolest song in the world way back when, and I have a ton of good memories attached to it and him.

Anthem is probably the song I had the least attachment to growing up. I don’t know why, it’s a great song. Maybe because it’s the closer and teenage me never wanted this to end while listening to it or something silly like that lol

 

Like even though I never need to hear All the Small Things again, I understand why it’d be ranked #1 by like … any publication

 

Goofs like the person writing that article are why Mark has been so against playing non-singles.
