actually it super cool that that literal pop punk royalty like blink would write a song about the nostalgia surrounding the scene that is their legacy! when did pop punk heads become as annoying as hardcore bros

 

blink gets called up to headline Coachella the same year they don't get to headline a nostalgia emo fest the same weekend they release a new album.

 

Pretty damn cold of WWWY Fest to not have blink as the headliner given they had that song commissioned

 

Wonder if the album might have more than one cover cause I saw a different version earlier

They are headlining WWWY though. They didn’t close out the night when they headlined Coachella either

 

Its all the same thing, though. Lollapalooza has two headliners every night, performing at the same time. That's essentially what's happening here, only instead of facing off they're just doing one after the other.

They're both top billing. They both get the same length of time. Honestly you could even argue that Paramore is bigger than MCR, but you really didn't hear that much complaining about their placement last year.

I'm not a Green Day fan so personally I'd be happy with them closing. Maybe catch some of Lit with their small crowd and go to sleep early.

Can't wait for Friday. Seeing the Descendents Thursday night about 2 hours from my house. Staying at a friends house that night, then driving home Friday morning with this album as the soundtrack/first listen.

Pretty surreal that it's 2023 and it's nearly here. I loved California and NINE after spending time with them, but I haven't felt this hype since Neighborhoods, and I was 21 years old then.

 

Friday is gonna be massive. New Knuckle Puck, blink and Boys Like Girls.... Also Spiderman 2 which is getting perfect reviews.

I love life.

 

Tom has been the lead for the last 3 albums they were together though. I think he just writes faster.

 

I wasn't aware of KP's new album! It's gonna be a great day, and I'll see Boys Like Girls and blink play their new stuff live in march ❤️
