I haven’t heard it of course. But I have always thought EDGING was fine. Didn't hate it, didn’t love it. The idea behind OMT and what we’ve heard so far just seems like I’ll enjoy it way more.

 

That's a good catch! Those drum patterns definitely sync up to both of those clips. And it makes sense because "More Than You Know" would have otherwise been missing from the five clips from the little radio.

Side note - I really confused for a half a second when I first heard "Anthem Pt. 3" in the trailer. If you watch at about 5:47 of the video you posted, Travis is playing the beat first where the snare is on the downbeats. That's the way it is in the trailer clip.

BUT the part he plays right after that where the snare and bass drum are flipped (the typical double-time punk pattern) is the way my brain got used to hearing it in the little radio teaser. So I was lost for like half a second listening to the clip in the trailer because the vocals and the snare were NOT lining up the way I thought they would.

The interesting thing is that "When We Were Young" was the only true surprise due to the song not appearing in any leak previously. Curious when it was written and if it pushed a song / songs out of the main tracklist.

Yeah definitely sounds like its all still double time punk beat in the radio teaser, my guess is its all double time drums for the first one or two choruses, and then the final chorus is the one we hear in the OMT video tease with the snare on the downbeats, changing it up a little for a more exciting last chorus or something
