I feel like bad news is going to be my online songs from TOYPAJ. So many great songs on that record but online songs is the one that has forever held a special little place in my heart. I feel that already growing for bad news.

Like, it's been a bit since I've heard it but I'm pretty sure the structure is almost identical. The way the vocals flow remind me of what makes Wendy Clear one of my all time favorite blink songs. Also think it's the only fully Mark song on the album?

 

I can't believe we got so many singles and yet the album manages to feel like a complete surprise. They did something very, very right.

Terrified is pretty easily my favourite song on here after one listen through. That chorus really soars

 

Other Side is a tribute song to Marks bass tech Robert Noise I’m assuming. Definitely a highlight on the album

Twitter's lack of any content moderation at all seems like it should be opening them up to more legal issues than it seems to have so far. It's RAMPANT over there.

 

So far this is definitely a lot better than Neighbourhoods. Looking forward to listening to it in more detail tomorrow with my AirPod Pros.

"Bad News" seems to be getting the most love so far from my informal reading. That one really gives me late tracklist TOYPAJ vibes.

 

Just got to "You Don't Know What You've Got" and wow, that one hit ALL the feels. This is soooooooo good. Still doesn't feel real that I'm listening to this right now.

 

Blink wave is such a bop

 

I am absolutely floored. This was absolutely incredible. They hit on every era on the band while still making it sound fresh and new. Hooks for days, so glad we got some classic Mark songs too. Album of the year!!
