Both these songs are already a million times better than California Deluxe. Now those were half-baked. These seem more “save for a rainy day”. In this case the rainy day is beating Drake.

 

why?

 

I'd take Cut Me Off over Edging and Fell In Love in a heartbeat on the proper album. I didn't cut them when I added it to Spotify though lol.

I only listened once but they both feel like good songs but not GREAT songs, and I think the tracks picked for the album are all stronger and have their place on the album

 

It’s crazy Drake is still competing for #1 on his 3rd week when I’ve literally only seen bad things about the album

 

I really do wonder who Drake's audience is these days. The oldheads know his new stuff is terrible, I figure that the youngheads don't care about him much (maybe I am wrong) and he isn't doing anything special to find new fans... I just don't quite get it

These new songs are fuckin spankerrrrrs! The only other times I've ever thrown $5 out so quickly is when I'd get a foot long from Subway on my lunch break.

I think we just had a similar discussion about hozier and he’s kind of in a similar situation. I know people that don’t listen to a ton of music but were super pumped and listened to his new album a bunch. Idk, it’s weird!

See You definitely sounds like the B side to me. Cut Me Off I feel like could've fit in around WWWY in the track list
