A Mark Hoppus/Matt Skiba record circa 97-98 would be guaranteed to be my favorite thing in history lol.

 

Hey I'm with you except I'd want a Mark/Matt circa 2001-2003 record.

 

I dunno how to share pics on here on mobile, but I'm a 5th grade teacher, and I introduced my kids to California (minus Rabbit Hole) last week, and half of them are already humming along with the album when I play it... I know its not their best album, but im convinced its one of their catchiest, haha

 

Are they all singing Built This Pool yet?

Besides Rabbit Hole and the two joke songs this is definitely their most young person friendly album in terms of topics and swearing etc.

 

Oh yeah, I pulled the joke songs, and just had to pull Only Thing cause of "hell". :/ lol

 

And the drunk-stuff is ok?

I remember we once played Dr. Dre's Next Episode in 5th or 6th grade here in Germany :D

 

That'd be great too. As far as Mark songs go, for me his on Dude Ranch are my favorite. Like really not even close. That's why I pick that time period haha.

Yeah Mark really nailed that album. It might be his strongest Mark only songs. Enema is pretty damn good too though. I like the Good Mourning era Matt the best. Even though some of my favorite Matt songs are from Crimson.

I agree, Dude Ranch is my favorite Blink album, nothing comes close...

 

Yeah I love Good Mourning. From Here To Infirmary through Crimson is probably my favorite stretch even though everything before that is a classic to me as well haha.

 

Yeah those are my 3 favorite Trio albums. I like them all but I'm not sure they can ever top any of those 3.

 

I have to say Crimson is my favorite only because I was late to the game with alkaline trio, minus the song Armageddon because it was I n tony hawk underground, and I happened upon one of their concerts (friend had an extra ticket cause his gf broke up with him, so I went). The second I heard them play Burn I was sold on them

 

Last night was an absolute blast

Props to the girl who's friend barfed all over her, and then proceed to take off her shirt and pants because of how bad they smelled, and then proceeded to stay in the pit with the rest of us. Luckily another girl near us had perfume with, so she sprayed her from head to toe, and then it smelled quite nice while she was around

 

FUCK YES

Beyond stoked for soundcheck and to meet the dudes.

 

The first time I heard Alkaline Trio was Jaked On Green Beers because it was on the first Atticus CD. Immediately loved the song and the band. Crimson is probably my favorite album of theirs too. My favorite Trio song is Mercy Me.

 

Mine is either burn or we've had enough (we've had enough got shown to me by said friend at a dark moment in my life where it fit perfectly)

 

Shit, Blink KILLED it in Minnesota last night. Maybe the best Blink show I've seen. All hail Skiba.

 

Felt quite the opposite after seeing them a week ago. It just doesn't feel right without Tom.
