I have two tickets for the St. Louis show that I may be selling due to unforeseen circumstances :(

 

Don't know how to feel about this:

Tom is the man. I still love him. I just finished watching the documentary yesterday. It was great.

May check out some of the recent stuff he's been doing like the Dream Walker animation etc tonight

 

I used to be really into Skiba but my opinion has changed a little after seeing them live again. He gets the job done but at no point did I think he "killed it" or anything. Same with Mark though and same with Tom. In 2016 the only member of blink that is that impressive live is Travis

I actually thoroughly disliked Skiba lol. He's fine and all but just is not the same without Tom. Even though Tom and Mark aren't "impressive" or anything it's still special seeing that group together. Matt was just like there. He was decent. He was trying to interact and get the crowd into it but just didn't feel the same. I had a great time at the show regardless but still will continue to hope that Tom makes it back in some capacity in the future

 

Reddit users would have immediately sampled it into the actual song and then toss it onto YouTube, "BORED TO DEATH FEATURING TOM DELONGE!" or "BORED TO DEATH BY THE REAL BLINK-182!"

 

Maybe he just wants to sing a song he wrote – shocking, right?

 

I wish he wanted to play it live back when he was still in the band

 

That's fine but why post it then? He knows he's going to get a reaction. He obviously wants the attention.

 

Excited to hear blink songs actually sound listenable live in two days.

 

There is no evidence he didn't want to. The setlist is just as stale and boring as when he was in the band. So many great Hoppus songs they don't play, which is a bummer.

 

Because it's his Instagram and he can post what he wants? Not everything this man does has some ulterior motive behind it.

Feels like the anti-Tom crowd is even more obsessed with his every move than the so-called "Tombots" sometimes.

 

You're right. I've always felt that Mark had more to do with that than Tom did. The "proof" I've got is that they're still doing greatest hits and when they did those untitled shows, Mark swapped out his songs (Go, Here's Your Letter) with First Date and something else which Tom mentioned on stage that Mark snuck that in there

 

You have a lot more faith in him than I do I guess.

 

Would love to see them bust out 'Here's Your Letter.' They've been adding different stuff in, so hopefully it continues and they do 'Pathetic' or 'Apple Shampoo' or something.

 

Although he sounded good and only messed up a couple of times, I definitely was not impressed with Skiba. Minimal movement, kept staring off into space, didn't talk, looked/acted exactly like a fill-in. Nothing special or memorable from my show at least. Travis on the other hand...

 

Even in this video he looks like he doesn't want to be there.
