I like this song.

 

I just find it hard to imagine I could ever dislike anything my easily-top-two favorite musicians could write together. I feel like this is the most hyped I've ever been for anything lol.

DED is 0/5 and one giant swing and a miss for me. The production is atrocious. Can't imagine how anyone could think anything off this was anywhere near the band's best material. Yuck.

 

When I was young is a good song. The rest are just whatever

 

" Dog Eating Dogs " is a pretty awful song. The lyrics are horrible.

 

I fully expect this album to blow the last two releases out of the water. The production alone will be huge.

 

Listening to Asthenia right now and I always think "the other 2 guys had no idea what was going on inside Tom's mind about how serious he'd take the theme of this song for the next decade".

Also, 'Asthenia' would be a much cooler name for a band than 'Angels & Airwaves'.

 

by far the best song on there. the chorus is soooo BCR. i love it. the next two songs on the EP are good, but i could live without them. the last two tracks are balls.

MH 4.18.2011 is one of my least favorite Mark songs of all time. I hope we see less of that on this album.

 

I am with everyone who's down on MH 4 whatever and PLG. With or without Yelawolf. I actually think he was the highlight of that song.

there is not a single line I can think of in that song where I can say "that lyric isn't dumb as shit"

Right up there with "the ice is really cold, the street lights are really old" for absolutely cringeworthy writing

 

4.18.2011 is a great song. One of the best from the last record. The only thing that sucked about the last record was he production. That's what happens when the band isn't in the same room during the process lol

 

I would say there were many things that sucked about the last record aside from the production.

 

It's unhealthy with how ready/excited/obsessed I am for this release. In 4 days we will have new blink. I'm going to try and appreciate this anticipatory period.

 

After Midnight is a top song in their catalog IMO. Figures it's one of the only ones they wrote together.

 

I didn't think Neighborhoods was bad, but I also didn't think it was anywhere near as strong as the self titled.
