Neal seems more like a Blink move, but Bill would be my first choice for them.

 

California I had about 2 weeks in my car but I'm very over it and that bums me out. Still pretty excited to see them next week.

I'm still very into California. It hasn't lost any appeal for me. There are definitely things I'd want them to do differently on the next album, but California ticks a lot of the boxes for a great Blink album for me.

 

I think California would be better if I axed a couple tracks off of it and burned it to a new CD

 

I'm still hitting California pretty hard. Probably 10-15listens if I checked iTunes count.

But it's prob got a week left in it til Amity Affliction album is out and then I start listening to Architects and Shikari for their concerts in sept

 

California is literally all I listen to and will listen to until after the show Monday

Hasn't happened yet. And like I said, after the show Monday I'll ease back out of it. I usually do this when a concert is in my future, listen to only that band for about a month until the show then move on to the next lol

 

my show isn't until the end of next month, so i'm sure i'll bust the CD out again and listen to it all week leading up. and by then (hopefully) they'll have added some more songs to the set.

I feel like that would be my abbreviated track listing, if I had to cut a couple.

 

"California" would easily be one of the first songs to go. Even before the joke songs, haha.

 

I didn't really want to keep it, but I felt like I still needed a "closer." Do you think any of those other songs would work? San Diego, maybe?

 

It could be "Home Is Such A Lonely Place" I suppose. But even that one (as good as I think it is) might not make the cut for me. I feel pretty picky about this album, but at the same time, there isn't more than just a couple songs I'd want to take off of it. The real problem is there is only a couple songs I love. The rest are just "listenable" for me, but nothing special.

 

I like Cali as a closer but yeah San Diego is next cab of the rank to close if Cali is taken out

 

I have very different favorites on this album than everyone else. The three location songs all rank in my top 5 and I think Left Alone is just okay

 

Last night's show was fucking awesome. Great to hear the new songs live and it was so beyond cool to see Skiba headline an arena show.

And I borderline love "Rabbit Hole"

 

I honestly tried today with a friend to narrow down any songs we'd cut. He said Home and that's it. Not counting joke songs....I can't think of any lol

 

I genuinely enjoy every song on the album. I would only cut Los Angeles and Rabbit Hole if I absolutely had to. I still sing those songs at the top of my lungs when I listen to the album. To be honest, this album has my two favorite songwriters at the helm; I was never going to be lukewarm on it.

 

Don't associate me with some of the puns made on here hahaha

 

Rabbit Hole has definitely grown on me. I bashed it a bit just because the band hyped it up but I think it's in the top half of the album and does "old blink's" style better than a lot of other songs on here

 

We will leave you left alone to wonder.

 

Aside from two listenthroughs to Good Charlotte's album, this is still all I've listened to. And it's probably some bias like when Mark and Tom were best friends and I was guaranteed to love whatever they did. Mark and Matt have been my two favorite songwriters for over a decade now so also it would've had to go real wrong for me not to love it. I haven't sung along to an album this hard since A Fever You Can't Sweat Out lol.

 

Dunno if this has already been shared. I know there was an amateur video, but here's a pro shot and the sound is clear.
Aside the electronic stuff, I like the fact that the vocal track is so clear and we can hear all the harmonies.
Btw, the synths could really fit as a Tom Delonge version of Bored to death lol

 

Between the hype and feeling like it has the second-most Feldmann influence after No Future I didn't listen to it much when the album came out but I really like it again (I listened to it too much when it came out.) For me it's still the most immediately catchy chorus on the album. The first day I heard it, it was stuck in my head so easily.
