Its fans having some excitement and sharing on that. I'm sorry you had a hard time on that album thread, but no need to be a kill joy. Just let the blink fans be excited to receive their album. If @Jason Tate made a seperate thread for every slightly variant topic relating to each band I think the site would be quite a mess

So I got to hear a proper acoustic recording of my favorite Trio song "Continental" this morning and then my day gets better

In my opinion, you can express excitement without shipping updates, but I could be wrong. So, that's just my two cents. I hope you enjoy your unboxing.

 

I'm wondering how much that Japanese bonus track CD would be in US dollars. A friend of mine is actually going to be there next week and could get it for me. I know it will be online but it would be cool to get that version of the physical CD.

 

The point of this forum is for fans of music to share conversation and excitement with each other. This album means a lot to many of us, specifically in the blink-182 thread. Let us share moments together.

 

it'd be very different if people on reddit were making separate topics for their shipping excitement. because that makes a whole new post, and THAT is pointless. i think it's totally fine for people to make a single post about their excitement that their things have shipped. it's not a big deal.

 

My issue is with multiple posts whenever someone's shipping status has changed. But hey, I'm a company man so keep posting. I'm just letting everyone know that I don't need to know your shipment has arrived at a FedEx Facility in Nashville to know you're excited. I'm excited too but I don't think anyone cares about my shipment status. I'd much rather see people unboxing their records or bundles (e.g. the trio fan who just posted an IG of their signed bundle).

Same. I preordered the signed vinyl, but I want to go pick up a CD in store on Friday. I still love buying CDs on release day.

 

I want to go buy it on release day at the store but Canada Day makes that impossible.

 

But we have to listen to you talk about how creative Tom is all the time ?

I listened to it about 4 times and I like it a lot.. I'll come back to it but not as much as others this year... It's great for what it is, it just might not be my preferred genre anymore idk.

 

Tom's guitar playing is more creative than Matt's.

That being said, I don't like Tom. I don't want Tom in Blink-182.

I love Matt Skiba in Blink-182 and want Matt Skiba in Blink-182 until the band makes the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame.

However, I'm always going to call a spade a spade. California, while good, is missing the riffs that Tom brought to the table.

At the end of the day, I'll gladly sacrifice those riffs for good live performances and edgier vocals.

 

It's on some compilation that comes out Friday. I think Fat Wreck Chords?
