Have you read the book "how music got free"? As someone who has always found music leaks interesting, i couldn't put it down. i believe TOYPAJ was mentioned in it. Basically all leaks were at the hands of one CD plant worker for a while. crazy.

I'm always looking for the same feels I got listening to untitled and I realized it all has to do with the age I was at the time of listening to it and not so much the actual musical content. anyways I think California is fun but it still doesn't beat Untitled for me. Sure as hell is better than Neighborhoods though woof.

 

also probably unpopular opinion but I think Mark's best writing was from +44.

Finally caved and listened to it. It's decent. This band just doesn't work without Tom for me. His vocals compliment Mark so well.

Still super excited to see them on the road this summer. Should be a great show

 

Ok guys, I'm in!! Hi everyone, I'm from Italy, blink fan since 1999 and almost in my 30s.
I'm one of those people waiting for friday, I will just enter in my record store and buy it like I always did. Yeah I'm an old school guy and I don't even know what is this reddit you always talking about haha! I can't really wait to listen this album...

I've been following this topic for a long time in silence, but now that I'm about to listen this record I can't control anymore and I need to speak haha!
Actually i'm really worried: except Bored to Death, I didn't like what I heard:
-The joke songs just doesn't mean anything to me today, actually when I knew they were making them again I felt sooo weird;
-Rabbit hole and no future are just little songs, nothing that makes me emotional;
-Bored to Death is a good song and when I first heard it I had goose bumps and that's what I expect when I listen to new blink songs.

I really hope this album is not just made of little pop punk songs like hundreds of other bands and joke songs...After an album like the self-titled (I don't even count neighborhoods and DED except really few songs...) I just expect something that push forward, not backward. And I really expect that Matt Skiba brings some more darkness in it. I'm happy he is in and I'm sorry for Tom but most of the music he did after i-empire is not audible...
From what I learned reading on this pages, seems that they made an album for younger people and not for older fans. Anyway I'm happy they have a producer again. I will tell you more on friday and I really hope that my feelings will be not confirmed!!

I'm just sayin'.... Do shipping updates warrant a separate thread? I got a hard time for talking about setlists in an album thread that had died down for the most part. So, I don't think it's an unreasonable question to ask. I'm glad everybody's excited but I'm not sure how "signature confirmations" and "estimated delivery times" help anyone but the poster. #PleaseDontHurtMe
