Dear fucking lord - Cynical gave me bigger goosebumps than BTD on first listen.

It was everything I wanted it to be - only thing I'm mad at myself for is that I'll always remember the first time I heard the new opening track to new Blink was in my work office...on shitty headphones, while someone was waiting at my door to tell me "we need to keep an eye on people using the word gay and offending people"

 

This guy sure has balls aha.

Yeah this one is pretty decent. VERY NOFX when it kicks in. Not a negative.

 

I'm not sure I could last that long without giving in to listen to Cynical after the rave reviews lol. I can maybe last til tomorrow if the album doesn't leak by then.

 

not listening to anything until at least a HQ rip of the whole album, everyones comments have me really excited though!

Paraphrasing but "She's Out of Her Mind starts off like Enema then goes to Goldfinger/5sos/ATL"

 

But will it fit on the spiderman soundtrack?

 

I will back up the NOFX vibe when it kicks in - its not a bad vibe by any means at all!!

But this track, into Bored To Death...and then into She's Out Of Her Mind (which may be the crossover single @Jason Tate was referring to?) would be a fucking awesome 3 track opening.


Blink has me feeling like a teenager again - and that is all I ever truly wanted from this record.

Cynical reminds me of No Use for a Name when everybody comes in at the 38 second mark.

 

Well i can just listen to Cynical into Bored to Death for the rest of my weekend/life now can't I. Holy shit. That was great

I can't believe they did such a disservice to "Cynical". I mean comon. Just put a second verse into it and repeat the chorus once. Productional things like this make me always wonder how blind the producer and the band must be at times.
