Rabbit Hole has grown on me. I think the reason so many people are quick to dismiss it is because they're used to blink having serious music. Rabbit Hole is a fun song, and blink hasn't made a "fun" song like this in a long time.

Yes, and now blink is ska

    Sleekest of beaks. So Good.

If there ska the album should be titled Florida.

Who was the main songwriter in that song The Innocent? Goldfinger or Mest or even Good Charlotte. That's the one I would most be reminded of. One that's not ska

    I loved that song

The squeak of Mark's voice on "KEEping your reputation clean" is a classic moment.

Did anyone on reddit compare blink to MEST b/c if so, someone needs to hurt that person.

Nah. The people that are saying blink sounds like Goldfinger don't know who Mest is. Before their time. Maybe before their birth.

I always thought Mest was some solid B-level pop punk. Though the guys in the band are creepy trash.

I love Destination Unknown and Wasting Time, there was a long period of time where I would tell you they were my favorite band

I liked a few of their songs when I was in high school. Hated What's The Dillio even then though. But for the most part, Wasting Time was really catchy to me back then. They are just one of those bands where lyrically, they didn't age well.

There's only been one time in the 18 years I've been a fan of blink where I said another band was my #1 favorite... And that was Sum 41 right when DTLI? came out

Edit: okay and probably Fall Out Boy back in 2007-2008

I actually liked their self-titled album more than Destination Unknown. That was just a really well polished album.

Now I Know This World Isn’t Spinning Just For Me Prestigious

Someone on YouTube said "man Tom really did get out when the going is good, good thing he left. These guys are such sell outs now this is goldfingers lite."

......I can't decide if Reddit or YouTube is dumber

Hearing that blink "sold out" in the year of our Lord 2016 makes me laugh. And then to say that they turned into Goldfinger by selling out. Lol oh man.

Something to Believe by Mest is one of the best pure pop punk songs I've heard in years. Granted it also sounds just like their producer in ADTR coincidently

  20. Mest is musical cancer. Had to eradicate it from my iTunes a few years back.

Pop punk as a genre is an insult to music. Literally the combination of the two lowest levels of western music.

But I love it and would hate life without it.

FUCKIN SAVAGES IN THAT FUCKIN BOX Prestigious

Tony's lyrics on his solo Mest stuff don't even flow well.

How does this thread just keep turning into crapping on stuff? Lol

  24. Every now and again it'll pop back up in backups and I have to make sure to zap it again. I've heard some stories about those guys that are truly horrifying too. So made that easier. Was pretty funny how badly that band wanted to be Good Charlotte, and then Eve 6, and then whatever that last few albums were. If we're talking about sellouts or popularity chasing 6 months too late ... they have to be number 1. Still cracks me up when they tried to write their "Here's to The Night" for graduation time.

Yeah that was pretty good too, I was just a bigger fan of the punk-ier side of them mixed in I think, s/t got more... radio rock? etc
