Please don't hurt me for saying this but I'm really discouraged by the first two singles.

I can't get into "Rabbit Hole" for the life of me.

What if the 30 songs they discarded are better than Feldmann's 30-some-odd songs?

I hope they'll release some of the forgotten thirty on an EP still.

My wife can't stand blink, but I caught her absentmindedly singing "life is too short to last long" the other day.

Luckily my fiancé is a blink fan as well as her favorite band just like me. It's how we noticed eachother by our blink tats lol. Exchanges like this are not uncommon.

I don't mind Bored to Death, but I can't see myself listening to Rabbit Hole much if at all.

 

There's a huge difference in Cheshire Cat and Dude Ranch and even Enema than anything these bands have put out

 

Nah. And especially not to their fans. Basic pop songs about girls. Let go of your fanboy side it's ok.

 

Please be true! It's not too late to save the end of the record. I can't imagine it not being better than "Brohemian Rhapsody" as I'm expecting it to be the "What's the point of saying sorry now?" song.

 

Why would it only be a Japanese bonus track and we not get it ? That's unfair :(

 

A group of people sat in a room and decided "Rabbit Hole" was the second impression they wanted to make from a record that has so much riding on it? At least Thrice knew they had a better song in "Black Honey" (versus "Blood on the Sand") as their second single.

 

What if it was another joke song? Haha. I'm guessing it wouldn't be though. Hopefully it's a good one. I also agree that it is kind of weird to end the record on "Brohemian Rhapsody".

 

And it sure looks like they were right by most of the fan response ... hearing presales spiked 30%.

Also I don't think this is an official single. They said "She's Out Of Her Mind" was gonna be the next single likely. But they start playing a bunch of shows soon so they needed another new song out there.

 

I'd like to bring up crowds at Blink concerts. Oddly not very crazy from what I can remember. Some pushing and shoving, a little mosh pit here and there but nothing too crazy. A very different vibe than say, a New Found Glory show - which gets pretty active.
