Hopefully that's a new stream so they get a better version of Bored. I liked the first one well enough if they didn't screw up the bridge. It happens. Not downloading the app to listen to BBC radio for a single day of my life though lol.

It's live from the Radio 1 All-Dayer. I thought they'd be performing much later? Weird. I hope someone ripped the whole show.

  5. I feel like "memorable" and "cool" is more subjective than objective.

If I was playing a game called "Guess this guitar part!" I would know any Blink riff before any, say, ACDC riff. But I think that's because I like Blink's riffs more, personally. For whatever reason. But that's just me.

I think Blink's riffs are less "cool" than Strung Out's, but Blink's are more in my wheelhouse so I enjoy them more. Some people enjoy bands with crazy guitar solos, but I personally dislike crazy guitar solos. Different strokes, right?

Side note: Strung Out's album Twisted By Design is fucking amazing, and I highly suggest checking it out.

Yes. I believe it has some claim-to fame as far as this title goes. Maybe best-selling rock single or most plays during sports games or something?

  11. Wasn't that just the actual song "Down"?

Feeling This might be weird acoustically since the verses are just shouting.

    Give what you can.

    All this talk about Blink
I hate to help you turn this in to a 'guitar gods of pop punk' thread but then again no I don't.

The lead singer of Dexter Freebish lives in my sisters neighborhood. "Leaving Town" was also one of the best 90's songs.

Kinda glad they stayed away from Dammit. There's so many bad acoustic covers of that online it kinda makes me not even want to see it if that makes sense. Even though I'm sure it would've sounded awesome. I'm just so glad they did Josie yesterday that nothing else matters lol.

You know, I think I'm the only person I know in real life that is aware that they had other songs/albums. Jesus. The midwest can be so shitty sometimes. Now I'm Googling Nine Days to see what they're up to.

I wish they'd play acoustic songs differently. Make it more ambitious. More reverberation. More intimate. Not just same electric guitar chords done on acoustic guitar. Bring in more guitarists and make it epic.

I love the little additional guitar riffs in the first half of the final chorus of Rabbit Hole.

It's weird. I discovered that song about two years ago and absolutely loved it. I was 17 when that album came out, and somehow it never really made waves where I live I guess. I'm not sure how it got past me.

  25. Some more fun memorable opening guitar lines ...
