How does the leak reporting work on that site? Anyone can just claim it has leaked?

 

Also someone gave the album a rating of 6/10 on hasitleaked, wtf

 

It's crowd sourced so any registered user can report a leak and the site it leaked on. Usually the registration step is enough to keep people from trolling but it's not always reliable

Right, but you have to have some reliability before they'll take your report seriously. You can't just register today and report a leak. You have to earn a bit of reputation first. I highly doubt those albums leaked, so the person that reported it had to establish some credibility with the site then report the leaks. In other words, it's some advanced trolling.

 

Okay, John told me that we're going to have to wait until July 1 and no sooner.

I don't even think we'll get song clips on amazon. The new Thrice album has no clips anywhere and I don't think Bloc Party did either. Both of these bands are on Vagrant and BMG own Vagrant now, so maybe BMG are anti song previews :(

 

I really don't like song previews, I'd rather just wait to hear the full thing. I mean, I'd listen to them probably, but it just feels too frustrating haha

 

I want them, and then again, I don't want them.

 

I would lay naked in my room with the album leak playing on loop eating Scronuts til I couldn't anymore

 

I would listen to the leak but would then have to preorder out of guilt haha

 

Depends how early the leak is. If it leaked like next week there's no way I wouldn't be able to listen, but like two weeks before the album is out I would just wait for the release date


Also I guess I'm the only one in the Green Day> Blink camp on this thread

 

i love and have nostalgia for both but I agree

 

I like Green Day a lot, all things considered probably a top 10 band for me, but Blink will forever be my number one.

 

Green Day has a lot of bad stuff. Mostly bad, in my opinion. They're one of the best live bands I've ever seen though. I'll give them that.

 

My favorite Green Day song is Warning. I feel like that's a super unpopular opinion.

 

I don't like the majority of the American Idiot album. Also an unpopular opinion. Ha.

 

Love everything up to and including American Idiot, enjoyed 21stCB for a bit but it got old fast, and Uno was an improvement but I had no urge to ever even listen to Dos or Tre. Unfortunately think I'm totally burned out on Green Day.
