Hearts All Gone is a bad song

 

It's one of the better tracks on neighborhoods IMO

 

Online songs beating STFTK!?...systems rigged.

 

I mainly like the verses/chorus. Mark and Tom both sound good. I agree about the riffs though

 

It was funny, STFTK had about a 7 point lead on it all day and with two hours to go in voting it just suddenly had this huge rush of votes to push it ahead by 1 solitary point

 

I'd say it's the worst pretty easily

Worse than This Is Home? No way. I can listen to HAG, This Is Home makes me hit the skip button 9/10 times

 

The only songs I'm likely to skip every time are Heart's All Gone and MH.

 

I like the bridge in hearts all gone, but other than that eh

 

These scores are so brutal I may have to enforce an old fashioned 'run rule'

"Heart's All Gone" sucks.

 

Yeaaaaaah I'm gonna call a run rule for the first time in one of these tournaments there isn't even one close match, the lowest score is up by double the points. Some of Mark's worst material is on Neighborhoods. Heart's All Gone and MH 4.18.2011 sound unfinished, they're more like rough sketches rather than finished products. They clearly needed more work/better production. Fighting the Gravity is the best Mark song on Neighborhoods, but even that sounds a bit uneven in places.

Honestly that's how I feel about the entirety of Neighborhoods, and I actually like the album. But there were ideas on there they really needed to polish, be in the same studio for, that could have been better songs. But it took them so long to make the album and with it being recorded mostly separate they probably just wanted to get it out there in a hurry
