i don't think i've actually watched any of the lyric videos. i just hit play and have it go on in the background. lyric videos are dumb.

except i saw one music video recently ish where it was a music video with the lyrics on the bottom and that was kinda nice and different.

My least favorite non-joke song from deluxe so far. I really like Mark's bass playing on all these new songs though! The vocal trade offs were cool too.

I like the song, but they should stop reusing the BTD riff.

Really love 'Misery', pretty indifferent about the rest. Wildfire is definitely my least favorite of the bunch.

What are the comparisons with bands that have put out basically a full album's worth of material for a deluxe edition less than a year after the proper album came out?

Lol anyways I take everything bands say about their own songs/albums with the biggest grain of salt. A million times It's their best album when it comes out, then two years later you hear everything they think is wrong with it, or the recording process sucked, yadda yadda, on and on.

I still LOVED the day California leaked. I was on a trip to Vermont to see Brian Fallon and I just remember every rest stop checking here for the new clips being released haha.

I wish I had like 1/1000th the excitement for this.

 

Does anyone know how deluxe reissues factor into album sales? Would it count towards the album itself or something different? As indifferent as I am on much of this record, I love these guys and wish them success, so it would be awesome if this reissue pushed it over the Gold threshold ( they are already over 400,000 if i recall).
