    100% go see The Killers.

Let's hold our breath until we disappear

I have only ever listened to one Killers album one time, and I bought a Lolla ticket specifically to see blink. Just a bummer since I was hoping to catch both.

If it makes you feel better I believe Mark (I know Feldmann said it) said his favorite song/song he was most excited for people to hear off of California was Rabbit Hole.

  4. Rabbit Hole is one of the best songs IMO

It's a middle of the road song for me on the California album. But I was trying to point out (probably poorly) that the band loved that song but most fans didn't so you can't always go by what an artist thinks of his work.

Rabbit Hole is a pretty good song. I thought it was disappointing for quite a while though since I thought it was going to be much better than it was, but now I take it for the song that it is.

  8. I think Mark was excited for fans to hear it because it was a fast song and feels like old school Blink. I think he knew fans were craving something like that.

If you've already seen the Killers I would go with Blink. The Killers have been playing the same exact setlist for the past 6 years. (I guess Blink pretty much does the same too though lol). But the Killers stage production has also stayed exactly the same. I would only choose Blink cuz they are one of my all time favorites. I'd wait for Killers to put out a new album before I saw them again.

  10. and then the internet completely shit on it! for whatever reason...

  11. Rabbit Hole is probably in my top 5 California tracks.

Bored To Death, Rabbit Hole, She's Out Of Her Mind, Cynical, San Diego/Sober (they're tied)

That's my top 5, ha. In fact, those are the only songs I really go back to regularly. Honorable mention: The Only Thing That Matters

This is what I was gonna say. Bands are terrible judges of their own material (every album is their best ever lol) although blink has done a pretty good job as far as describing their material.

I absolutely love Hey I'm Sorry, Misery and 6-8 so I'm still hyped. Parking Lot is the most skippable non-joke song off either album for me. That clip of Good Old Days that Feldmann played sounded great and I wanna hear Bottom Of The Ocean since they said it's more keyboard focused.

Hey I'm Sorry might be my favorite song from the California sessions. That or Cynical.

San Diego is my fave and Hey I'm Sorry, Cynical and Bored are all basically tied after that haha

I was gonna include 6/8 in my top 5 instead of Left Alone, but I thought it might be too soon.

haha, when it first came out I only thought the verses were cool, then the chorus grew on me. Still can't get down with the "whoa-oh's" in the beginning, and I wish Skiba's "whoa-oh-oh" in the chorus was up an octave matching Mark's intensity and actual words haha. I also think the lyrics are more up to par with what I'd want, even if Mark's don't entirely make sense.

San Diego, Left Alone, Bored to Death > everything else

Really speaks to how much I like California though because I think everything else falls just beneath those three. There is a giant disparity between my favorite and least favorites from Neighborhoods.

All the deluxe songs are probably bottom tier on California for me but I still like all of them. It's a shame the parts from "Can't Get You More Pregnant" didn't materialize into an actual song.

That article didn't excite me either and you nailed the fact that Mark didn't seem too excited haha.

You what else was disappointing? The neighborhoods song by song commentary by Mark.

I always forget about rabbit hole for some reason. I actually like it.

  23. The if it weren't for the cliché lyrics I think I'd like like the deluxe songs better. I mean the songs aren't awful but they really do fall flat.

    Things have changed.

The Killers regularly open with "Mr. Brightside," which is badass.

The article seems to be selling the songs short I think. By reading what was said you'd not think much of Misery and 6/8 but I absolutely love them
