That tour would be so awesome. I wish Green Day would play as a trio again though. There was something about seeing them as a trio that made it feel more personal for whatever reason.

i had no idea about the pop up version of the record until yesterday when i saw their instagram putting up an ad for it. so i went to the link they provided, and it was sold out. why even post an ad for it?! haha. it looks awesome though!

 

based on the descriptions we've read, what is everyone most excited to hear from Deluxe? I want to hear Bottom of the Ocean

 

those descriptions (or lack thereof) didn't excite me at all, actually. the descriptions were so short and Mark didn't come across as very excited about a lot of them, so that article put a bad taste in my mouth. So I quickly let myself forget about that article. The songs will be better than Mark described them. At least that's what I'm banking on.

 

blink-182 vs. The Killers conflict at Lollapalooza is very rough.

 

Bahahaha it's like that one guy at the party trying to chime in on a conversation you're having with someone and they didn't hear anything you were talking about except one sentence perhaps

 

The Killers are very easily the better live band and blink tours more frequently. Easy choice imo

 

would you rather watch the majority of the crowd standing there just waiting for "Mr. Brightside" or waiting for "All The Small Things"?

 

the fact that Mark keeps bringing up Misery as his favorite from the deluxe kinda hampers my excitement too

Not a bad song, but not great imo. love that frickin bridge though. Seems like to draw up excitement though, he would mention a song that isn't already out there.
