We've got new NFG, Incubus, The Menzingers, The Maine already. Coming up we have new Rise Against, Paramore, 311, Blink-182, Envy On The Coast, Jack White, and a Jawbreaker reunion. 2017 has treated us well so far. My apologies if I didn't mention something else. These are just my most anticipated of 2017 so far.

New Blink-182 two years in a row is such a bonus.

And by the sound of it we will get another blink album in 2018, so that will be three years in a row.

  5. according to a Reddit user, there's a rumor going around of a Blink/Linkin Park U.S. tour this summer... please don't let it be true. FML.

I hope it is true. I won't be seeing them again without Tom after last summer. lol

Also, I'm not trolling or trying to be negative but do you guys think the attendance at shows will decrease as more casual fans/people realize Tom is no longer in the band?

i dont think casual fans care if tom is in the band or not

  11. I don't think casual fans/people really give a shit as long as Blink plays the songs they've heard on the radio fo the last 20+ years. I really don't think Tom being there or not makes a difference to anyone but the big fans, honestly. I've always heard casual listeners complain about and make fun of Tom's voice, so (if nothing else) their crowds are getting bigger. In fact, they ARE getting bigger shows, soooo...

No, I think the blink-182 name is bigger than any of the individual members. The majority of the casual fans probably can't name all the members of the band anyway so as long as the band is playing their hits from the radio that those casual fans like they will be happy.

    Things have changed.

They're overseas for the entirety of June and July. That rumor is most likely bogus.

Serious question, why won't you go see them without Tom? I know you're not a fan of any of their new songs they did without Tom. And I admit it was a different experience with the band playing without him but did you just not like Skiba singing Tom songs?

Yeah it seems like to me they keep getting BIGGER attendances, not smaller ones

It was a different experience, I admit that. But not in a bad way at all. After California I got used to Skiba being in the band and he killed the old songs live, even breathed life into some I used to wish they would remove from the set

I would only think festival goers may be surprised not to see Tom.
Surely only 100ppl tops in a 10,000 arena would not know for a headline show.

Blinkin Park is a great name the fella who said above.
For the record I'd love that tour. And would have a great time buying beers and wee-ing LPs new tunes

Hope not but if Blink did do a co-headliner, hope they get All Time Low to open.

  20. ugh. i've seen ATL way too many times (last time was opening for Blink on their last tour) so i hope they don't play at all, haha!

Yeah never said it was bad but yeah it was different. I appreciate the memories of saying the band during their peak years with Tom and appreciate seeing them with the new line up too.

Yeah I've only seen ATL once, last summer opening for blink, and I never need to see them again. Their banter between songs ruined my experience with them. Not sure if they always do it at shows but the jokes they tried to make were just unfunny and weird.

  23. they do it at every show i've seen them at. it's weird seeing a band try to be Blink when they're actually opening up for them.

    That would actually upset me.

A NFG, Paramore, and Blink tour sounds better.

  25. my body would pop with that lineup
