Yeah, they recorded some cover songs for the Blink subreddit and they mention you on a couple of episodes! Episodes 21 and 22, I think.

They should just go ahead and make Hey I'm Sorry available for streaming since it's already been released

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

I liked Revolution Radio more than Neighborhoods and California. AI is a classic, 21st Century is solid, and yeah, the trilogy overall sucked.

Yeah I liked Revolution Radio okay, dunno bout more than California but its close, it was the best Green Day has been since American Idiot, which I love a ton. They're worlds above blink in live performance and sound/clever songwriting.

Untitled and American Idiot were the last times I really loved pop punk albums.

  8. on #21, it's funny how it takes them like 15 seconds to pronounce my username... hahaha

I'll take California over all of their albums except Dookie.

I FINALLY listened to Misery. I really like the intro and bridge, and Mark's Hitchcock line. The chorus is a little boring but on the whole I like it a lot more than Parking Lot

I'd take American Idiot over every Blink album ever

California doesn't touch Dookie, Warning, or American Idiot

California doesn't touch American Idiot, Dookie, Warning, Nimrod, even Kerplunk. But I like Untitled and Dude Ranch more than any Green Day album.

i mean green day is my #1 favorite band of all time so im obviously incredibly bias.... Rev Radio > California (but i liked california too). All Green Day albums minus the trilogy are awesome to me and Blink is pretty perfect too minus Neighborhoods.

I like Green Day don't get me wrong except after AI on. But I pick Blinks albums...personal preferences

I've always preferred blink to Green Day, but I certainly won't dismiss how good Kerplunk to American Idiot is. 21st Century Breakdown had a handful of good stuff but was too long.

I just fear getting a deluxe version of California will translate to one of Green Day's trilogy issues. Too much of the same sound can be a problem. I know the trilogy was 30+ bad songs, but even if anything on Tre was good, I was so burnt out by the sound, crappy lyrics, and blandness that I didn't even give it an honest listen.

  19. I respect Green Day more than I like them, if that makes sense. Dookie through Warning is all good stuff, the rest is meh to me.

Wow. I mean, i like Blink better overalls i think, but I'd take literally every single Greenday record up to the trilogy over California, and it's not even close haha.

That's coming from someone that actually quite likes California too haha.

Kinda relevant, I've always wondered who is considered to have had the bigger impact on the pop punk scene, Blink or Greenday?

Seems there's a consensus around that without Dookie there isn't a scene in the first place, but i feel like 97-03 Blink influenced so many bands that it's maybe worth thinking about.
