That's a matter of opinion....a hard one though because I like all 3 of the proposed albums

 

All this talk about (+44) is now giving me the urge to listen to their album. I dig it.

 

I've also always preferred (+44) to AvA as well.

 

agreed, even though I did enjoy some of AvA discography,

 

There's about four ava songs i like, can't get into that band at all

 

I like the first two albums, half of Love pt 1, a song or two from part 2 and 3-4 from Dream Walker.


My favorite though is that AWESOME acoustic WDNTW album Tom totally got around to releasing for its 10 year anniversary last year.

 

I've been pretty quiet since Misery was released. It's definitely a grower for me. Was pretty meh on first listen. On the 5th listen I like it more. But seeing how I've only listened to a new blink song 5 times in the last 24 hours doesn't say a whole bunch. I think my main gripe with it is that it might be a bit too long and kinda drags.

 

155 came on my phone the other day. I like that song. Rest of that album was pretty bland but they had some nice melodies

 

+44 was great. I remember driving to Best Buy with my friends after school the day it came out and I stood there debating if I should get the blue, green, or pink cover. I went with blue. But yeah, it was definitely an exciting time, especially with the whole Tom vs Mark going on

 

I'm a big fan of +44. That album is pretty rad from start to finish, imo. I was really looking forward to LP2.

 

My biggest issues are the everlasting space intro's and i reaaally don't like his newer way of singing/the weird pitch correction

 

Chapter XIII is my jam.

 

I went with blue too because it was all Hot topic had and I had just driven in a snow storm that dumped 2 feet of snow on the ground to the only open store to get it: and my license was suspended lol

 

That and Weatherman are always going to be songs I adore

 

I like WYHSB and California about the same amount. Neighborhoods is the worst album out of the three.

 

Pretty much the same for me too. I want to like it as much as everyone else, but I'm not there yet. It has stuff going for it and I'm glad it's getting good reception though. Just reminds me too much of 'San Diego' and even 'Hey, I'm Sorry'. Songs like 'Cynical' and 'Parking Lot' is the Blink I fell in love with way back in the day. So I was very excited to hear those songs this late in the band's career. I'll take what I can get though!

 

+44 album is cool. More interesting than California, for sure. More consistent than Neighborhoods.

182online.com was a +44 fansite while that whole thing was going on, then when blink reformed it changed over.

 

Saw this response to the beats1 premiere

 

In the minority here that I think Dream Walker is the best thing any of them have done since 2003, with Dogs Eating Dogs a close second.

Matt never ruins anything, that's a fact. He sounds great in this song, especially.

That said, it still confuses me on the other end of the spectrum when people act like Skiba can do no wrong. Everyone raves about how awesome he is in "Parking Lot" where he is 80% of the lead, but then at the same time talk about the song being mediocre... Come on. haha.

 

Matt being awesome and the song overall being mediocre can absolutely happen when Mark's verse and the chorus drag the rest of the song down that much. His screamy vocals are perfect and I love the line "10 dollars to get into a fight you can't win." If it was an all-Mark song it might never get another listen. And Travis' drumming is just fast, it doesn't stand out among other things he's done. The guitars aren't amazing. I think his vocals are the only thing that save the song for a lot of people.
