Yeah it is terrible. I hope Matt never takes these morons to heart, ans I'm sure many more fans like him but just don't post on there. It is disgusting disease ridden mess there in the comments lol.

 

Yeah it was part of the set since DED was released. When I saw them in Fall of 2013 they played it and Disaster.

The only songs from DED they never played live I believe are When I Was Young and Pretty Little Girl.

 

I know Matt doesn't pay attention to the assholes anymore but I know when he did pay attention to them he said it did hurt him.

 

I'm glad he doesn't anymore. Dude has done a standup job, sounds great live, and helped make a killer album that was #1 and got nominated for a grammy. He should be proud and fans should be grateful. Plus from what I saw when I did the meet and greet guy is just the most humble and polite dude out there.

 

You know it's weird, out of all music genres I think most guys in rock bands or punk bands are the most nicest and humble people you could ever meet compared to a list Hollywood stars or pop stars.

 

This is true. Both Mark and Travis were just as nice, as was Adam lazaara and John Nolan. Matt was just super polite too. Funny how that works

 

Ideally we would all have wanted that Blink would have been Tom's #1 priority, but when that is not the case, Matt has probably been the most perfect guy to fill Tom's place. Not only musically, but also as he takes so much pride in being a part of blink. At the same time that he is aware of blink's legacy, he also is not afraid to make the band go new directions musically which is really cool. At the same time that he just seems to be a great person.

And i could really need some news on Parking Lot now. I want confirmation that it's really happening haha.

 

All those nerds on Facebook think Matt is disrespecting Tom. It's so dumb.

It is, it's like you CAN like the old stuff with tom and like the new stuff too! Or even if you don't just accept it! Bands switch members sometimes ((Tbs RHCP) it happens

 

Look at Senses Fail, Buddy is the only original member. Chris Conley is the only original member in Saves The Day. It happens. I'll always love Tom and I'll always be great full what he did for Blink. But his time was up.

 

Hypothetical question that will never happen but if Mark left the band and was replaced, how would you feel? Would Matt/Travis/someone else still be blink? I don't personally think so

the DED EP is average but I listened to it again for the first time in awhile and I think Dogs Eating Dogs is in my top 3 or 4 post-reunion blink songs. After Midnight and Cynical probably my top two.

 

Wasn't there supposed to be a "making of California" documentary type thing? Think we'll see that with the deluxe?
