We're essentially getting a brand new album less than a year after California. I'm cool with waiting a little longer.

 

I do wonder why it keeps getting pushed back? Wasn't this initially going to be released in 2016? Hopefully it's because they're taking their time perfecting it

 

Also keep in mind the possibility of a May 19 release being pushed back/forward since the new Linkin Park album releases on the same day. Blink's label may end up not wanting to directly compete with it.

 

Only possible explanation is Tom has been added as a 4th member and he's doing some landscaping

I'm totally okay with them pushing it back to May. The closer to summer the better.

I think After The Party could have been even stronger as a summer album...same with Painkillers last year!

 

Can they push Sober as a single before the release then? I re listened to California this morning and I'm really just so certain that Sober will be a hit.

 

Sober gets pushed the first day that the national temperature in US cities is >65 (as long as it's not raining)

Meh. I really can't complain. We aren't waiting YEARS for a new album's worth of Blink material. So a couple months is fiiiiiine.

 

I still don't get why people like Sober so much. I guess I see the potential for a hit, but it's got to be my least favorite song on the album.

 

I really didn't like it when it came out, but it's Grown on my immensely In the last few months.. Still think the last two songs are the worst

 

When California first came out I HATED Sober. But it has really grown on me recently. Its just too damn catchy to not push as a single.

 

Not sure if last 2 you mean The Only Thing That Matters and California or California and Brohemian Rhapsody. I love TOTTM and California. I think Brohemian is a fun enough way to close the album. And yea Sober hasn't grown on me. I don't know. It's the only song on the album I don't care for. It's not that I don't like the song even, it's just kind of there for me.

 

Would do weird things to see sober and left alone live.

 

Oh Yeah I meant TOTTM and California.. They're not bad songs per se, I just find them to be the weakest on the album
