If Blink lost to Bowie or Gojira it totally would have been completely understandable.

 

If they were against Bowie and Radiohead they would've had no shot. At least in rock they definitely had a chance

Rock performance or record, I forget. He was up for alternative album though, not rock... Nobody ever accused the Grammys of making sense lol

 

I looked at it, besides Blink, Weezer or Gojira would have been acceptable winners.

Also, the Grammy's always have been terrible. It's always catered to shitty music and the shitty Hollywood lifestyle. The thing I love about Mark and Matt is the fact there is nothing remotely Hollywood about them ha.

 

Uh Mark and Travis are really, really "Hollywood", if that's a word we're gonna use to describe people. They live there and had TV shows and go to movie premiers and do "Hollywood" shit. There's nothing wrong with it but I mean, they do.

 

Also, it's a fuckin Grammy. It would have been cool if they won. But it's a Grammy.

Yeah, both weren't very good. I did like A different spin just for the reason of introducing me to some hands, but I found out about wayyyy more bands on his podcast. That's how discovered Motion City back in 05

 

Maybe instead of just clubs this'll be the tour where they play all of California LOL
