Yeah - checked it yesterday and they didn't have a venue listed, just Northern Arizona University, and there wasn't a link to a ticket site. Today it's gone.

 

So somehow Alkaline Trio is playing a show on April 8th or 9th in the middle of the tour

The funny thing is that old Tom could cope with that. Post untitled no so much...

 

There's a pretty big gap between shows, though. Could see Matt just jumping on a flight and doing a one off show.

Speaking of, I'm definitely gonna try and hit up a day of that (hopefully they do single tix and Morrissey & ALK3 play the same day). Just wish it wasnt so close to Coachella, my wallet and feet are gonna hate me.

 

Added more dates. Knoxville,TN!!! I got tickets already with presale. Just hope they're good, fiancé is having feet problems so we didn't opt for standing. To me from this chart it looks like it's good. Lower balcony section it says, from the 3D chart on the Knoxville civic website looks like you can't get closer besides floor or parallel to stage

 

Come on where are those Cali club dates!?

Got my ticket for Austin

 

I feel the pain! Hopefully they do some warm-up shows at all venues like they did before. We be cool if they came back to play at SOMA.

 

I saw them at Musink like two days later but I had the opportunity to see them at SOMA but I only had enough money for one ticket and I felt bad not taking my girlfriend so I didn't go. We broke up three weeks later. I'm an idiot lol

 

I'm waiting for packages to go on sale. I can't believe I'm going to pay this amount of money again just to try and get a good spot. It might not even work out as well in my favor this time because as I remember it the pit/barrier at 360 is kind of small. The arena barrier felt like it was miles long.

 

I couldn't afford packages sadly. So I still got the best non standing seats though so no complaints

 

My guess would be that these shows and the summer UK tour would be the last shows for a while so Matt can get ready to do a Trio record

 

Yeah I would think the band would want to take a break for a bit. I know Mark had said in the past that he would like blink to be on a 2 year album schedule but if they're really planning on releasing all those songs for the deluxe album I wonder if releasing a new album in 2018 would be in their plans, as Travis said the earliest they could release one would be in the winter of 2018.

But who knows, the band is hot again so I can see them doing random shows to close out the year and then going on another summer tour in 2018 before they head back into the studio in early 2019 for another summer release and tour.

Whatever the plans are, I bet we get a new Trio album in 2018, so I bet the Trio will head back into the studio in the fall when Matt gets back from Europe.

I guess the Flagstaff show was pulled due to it being a show just for the NAU students.

Mine would either have to be Blink covering Moshi Moshi, and Brand New covering Adam's Song. I could see Jesse slowing Adam's Song down and making it very moody and sad.

I've actually used to think how I'd like to see a concert where Fall out Boy covers a Blink set followed by Blink covering a Fall out Boy set.

 

Matt or Tom covers Patrick's parts, and Mark does some along with Pete's screams
