Now the real question is are you a Matts chorus in BTD person, a Marks chorus in BTD person or a Mark's final chorus in BTD person?

 

Mark's bridge in BTD is an album highlight for me

 

The bridge for sure. I also love both Matts chorus and Marks final chorus after the bridge

 

I like how Travis mentioned a live album and a documentary. Those are two of the things I'd really like to have, unfortunately a blink documentary without Tom as a talking head would seem really weird unless its just about the Skiba Era blink.

 

If everything with Tom wasn't so screwed up with I'd want a documentary. I feel Tom would have to be a part of it.

 

Just pictured Tom as a floating talking head that butts in when Mark and Travis try to speak. Not even regretting this mental image

 

I wish that blinkumentary thing would have materialized because that would have been a fun thing to see... Though, now looking back and knowing that they were never really 100% (as far as getting along and collaborating) it probably would be weird to watch. Gotta imagine Tom's weirdness and being a control freak had a lot to do with that thing never seeing the light of day.

If they did a documentary that was specifically about the making of California, I would be totally down. Otherwise, it would just be an hour of them talking about how working with Matt is "great" and "awesome" like they do in every interview. haha.

 

As much as I love Blink - I don't really have any interest in seeing a documentary without Tom

 

You mean Toms manager would try to butt in while Tom sits in the background with his head down. Ha

 

This made me really miss Tom in Blink...

 

I wonder if the guys that filmed the blinkumentary just scammed the band/management/label to be able to follow/hang with the band for a tour/recording with no intention of actually putting together a cohesive documentary. If so... well played gentlemen, well played.

 

One of the filmmakers, Haven, ended up filming the Ernie Ball Tom DeLonge documentary. I would still love to see The Blinkumentary, even an incomplete version would be fine.

I have to think for the band not to release it it must have been pretty eh to boring to bad. Probably a mix of BS by the band saying how great everything is and clips of them in the studio on the rare occasions all 3 were actually together.

 

They might have honestly been struggling to get footage of them actually together at all lol

 

I heard its because tom wanted to direct it and have it mostly about aliens.

 

Nah you're close. Tom wanted to direct it but he also wanted to star in it and make his acting debut by playing the parts of Mark and Travis.
