As promised here's my collection of magazines from back in the day, threw tales beneath...and the tour program in because they were right there too. If anyone is interested in scans of any of these, let me know and I will try to scan the articles too.

When I was young I hated that they were on Cosmo lol.

  6. that's SO not punk

  7. The new Simple Creatures (I always type Secret Creatures for some reason) song is aight. It's no "Adrenaline" or "NVM" but I like the gross guitar chords in the choruses and I like the lyrics.

Actually this is underperforming in the US Alternative airplay charts (where they have been a staple for a long time). Every blink lead single since EOTS went at the very least top 3. Anything less than that isn't that good for their high standards in their main chart.

While this is #14 after six weeks, both "Up All Night" and "Bored To Death" were top 10 within two weeks and well into the top 3 by the same "age" BIOMY is now. Sure, it's still too early and things might change, but right now it's slowing down a lot in terms of "spins" increase.

It's also their first lead single since "What's My Age Again" not to chart in the US (I'm including the bubbling under hot 100 here), UK, Australia or Canada main charts - places where blink have some of their largest followings.

Dude, that was my I thought as a kid ! I remember Blink, NFG, Sum 41 and GC did all that cheesy stuff and when you look back at it those bands were fucking massive and it was like the new craze taking over boy bands.

  10. Before TOYPAJ came out my friends and I would say "man, if their next album isn't punk, we are DONE with Blink!" and then TOYPAJ came out, it wasn't "punk", and I loved it, but I had to keep it a secret because I'd get bullied whenever someone found out they were my favorite band, haha.

    And yet:
    "Not Now" peaked at #18.

    "First Date" peaked at 6.
    "After Midnight" peaked at 7.
    "Down" peaked at 10.
    "Always" peaked at 39.
    "HISALP" peaked at 32.
    "STFTK" peaked at #7.

This is just annoying now. If you think a top 20 radio single for a band like Blink-182 is "underperforming" in 2019; I think you're out of your mind. If you think a top 10 HRS in 2019 from the band is somehow bad, you're just wrong.

  13. especially when it's fellow 14 year olds... haha

  19. Someone on Reddit basically said that it's okay to leave tweets and comments on the band member's social media that say they need to hang it up/replace Matt with Tom if you're just "concerned about their legacy" and that that isn't being entitled. It's scary how people just turn their brains off when they're on the internet. Kids, adults, everyone.

  20. Lost me after three words. :crylaugh:

Ahh yes, ruining the legacy of the band that ran around naked, then did it again in a Lit video, is really up in the air because they released a very popular song that lots of people like.

  21. It's like they forgot that Blink played a "live" concert inside of a Doritos bag.

Boom roasted when I specifically said every blink lead single since EOTS went top 3... Uh? And by the way, 2016 was just three years ago and both BTD and SOOHM reached at least number #2 there.

Not to add every other stat I wrote down (where BIOMY is factually below the band's standards) was plain ignored.

I love the new song, but facts are facts and these don't even matter much. It's just weird how so many keep complaining about blink's fanbase being toxic outside of chorus while some reactions here are exactly the same from an extreme defensive angle.

  23. Look, I'm just worried about their legacy ok.

Yes, but Tom was inside of that Doritos bag! ;-)
