Lol Tom's performance of Dumpweed at Reading is the single most clincher of why I really have no desire to see him play blink songs live ever again. He thinks those songs are beneath him now and he will never honestly put an ounce of a fuck into playing them again.

Scott never really did anything important as far as songwriting goes. He also doesn't sing so it's really uncomparable.

ghost on the dancefloor: angels and airwaves b-side. not good

natives: another angels and airwaves b-side, mark singing lead on the chorus is the only redeeming part of this song

up all night: enjoyed mark + tom trading lines on the verses but the angels and airwaves influence is still too strong

after midnight: i think this is the only blink track i've returned to since their reunion

snake charmer: lmao i'm pretty sure they saved all of the worst lyrics on the album for this song. so far i've hated every track that has only tom singing

hearts all gone interlude: hahahha were they trying to write 'the fallen interlude pt.2, but bad' here?

hearts all gone: it's really taken until the 7th track to get a solo mark track? lmao. instrumentally this is the closest they've come to sounding like the self-titled blink that i like most, but something really holds this track back for some reason. not a fan of mark's vocals on the chorus at all

wishing well: just got whiplash from how fast they switched from the self-titled sounding hearts all gone to the angels and airwaves b-side here. bad. not good

kaleidoscope: the lyrics on this track are embarrassing but i actually like how the guitars sound on here?

this is home: starting to realize why i haven't listened to this album since 2011

mh 4.18.11: this is the second best track after 'after midnight' and the most i've enjoyed myself in the past 7 tracks lol

overall i liked a whopping 2 songs on this album. 2/14 = 0.14% or about one and a half stars out of 10 lmao

they gave an honest review of the record, seems fair to me. You can disagree all you want. I disagree with it to an extent but it’s interesting to see the perspectives as to why people don’t like neighborhoods
