  1. Every now and then I remember they're bringing fucking Neck Deep on tour with them and I'm disappointed all over again.

there were tickets (not pit) on groupon a while back but there don’t appear to be any on there now

Yeah, I remember seeing them (I think they were still $40+ for last few rows of the stands). I'm at the point where it's pit or bust for shows.

How many people that complained about Lil Wayne’s misogynistic lyrics are hyped that they’re going to hear Dumpweed and The Party Song?

That's not really a decision of the artists, though, but the venue/promoter. And in my experience this always happens for ampitheater shows. Arena shows always sell better because they're centrally located venues with easy access from a wide radius through public transportation, whereas ampitheaters have to be far out in the middle of nowhere because of outdoor noise ordinances, making it harder for people without cars to attend. My "local" amphitheater (40 miles away) the tickets to most shows drop by like 60% in price the week of. Last year I saw Kendrick Lamar there.....two days before the show I got tickets for $30 that were originally $85 during the initial onsale.

Blink's NYC show is gonna be at an arena in Brooklyn.....I have a feeling when the general onsale starts on Friday it'll move faster than the rest of this tour.

  6. This is what I was thinking as well ... I don't go to many arena shows, but the pricing drops as it goes on and stuff seem to be pretty common for these kinda shows.

I'm so pissed about those prices, I've seen Jimmy multiple times and never payed half that much for a GA, does 3EB really draw that much to make it that expensive?

Apparently...I really know nothing about 3EB other than their initial album from 20+ years ago. I had no idea they had the following that they do. I discussed this in the tour thread months ago when this show was announced and a bunch of die-hard 3EBs thought I was crazy for thinking these ticket prices were crazy.

Most I've ever paid for a JEW ticket was like, $35 and in venues that cap out between 1200-1500.

The GA tix I bought for JEW/3EB were less than $40

Yeah the ticket prices are asinine. This is the first blink show I wasn’t willing to travel for because of these prices

As much as I love EOTS, you have a very valid point. That’s an unfair criticism

I mean GA PIT...I've never even been to a JEW show where there were seating options. The cheapest Cleveland ticket for actual GA...aka real shitty seats all the way in the back were still in the $60s and found there way on Groupon for $40 something. Everything else was absurd ticket prices.

I can only assume you mean the final line in the chorus "Eye. Time. Bomb" - commonly misheard as "I time bomb." I'm always amazed at how many people can't grasp its profound interpretation.

Tom is asking us - no, BEGGING us - to recognize that the universe is constructed of three key principles:

    1) Eye = The things that are physically manifested (things we can see with our physical eyes).

    2) Time = The idea that human beings are subject to a limited lifespan (at least for now).

    3) Bomb = The advancements we've made in the scientific world. The bomb, particularly the Atom Bomb (Eye Time Bomb purposely sounds like Atom Bomb if Tom were pronouncing it), was a huge scientific feat. Most importantly, Tom sings "Eye. Time. Bomb." exactly 14 times. Google: Project Blue Book Special Report No. 14.

I would have bought a ticket today if they weren’t so fucking expensive. The back row of seats is $122? Go fuck yourself venue.

I had a similar seat a few rows up in 2001 and it was like 30-40 bucks, if even that. Obviously 18 years later, but geez! That’s way too much.

The lawn is like $40, but I’m likely going alone. So I’m not doing lawn. Plus I don’t care for Neck Deep or Lil Wayne. So $122 for just blink in the shittiest seat in the venue? Hard pass. I’ll check tickets week of, but anything over $50 and I’m out.

In the past 18 years I haven't missed a Blink show in my area..... I even drive out of town to see them...I'm usually counting down the seconds till I can buy tickets. This is the first time I've been hesitant for the following reasons:

    - prices
    - no pit
    - no new album
    - prices
    - I don't like the new single (I listen to it because it's blink but if it wasn't blink....)
    - I don't care for the opening acts (I haven't liked some of their opening acts before and that hasn't stopped me from buying tickets but for the price I'd be paying it would be nice to also like the opening act)
    - prices

Now that I know they'll be playing Enema in full I'm more inclined to pull the trigger, but I'm still bummed about the price and no pit.

    Things have changed.

They added a pit to most of the non-arena shows, so maybe check your date and see if they added one!

Based on the tour schedule, my guess is that the album drop will be either August 9th or August 16th. They have a 3 week break in the tour and are back in the LA area around then as well. They can do all the promotion and press during that time. Pre-orders with another new song should happen in the next couple of weeks, surely before the tour starts at least. I wonder if we can expect a mini fall tour as well if the album does release in August?
