Well of course, but I'm talking in terms of the overall quality of each record.

Anyone with a Citi card try the presale for the Brooklyn show today? I'm curious what to expect for ticket prices.

I haven’t seen anything but the few comments here. I guess Mark said it on Instagram.

I’m assuming if true it’ll be included in this week’s “news” Mark intends to reveal.

Let's hold our breath until we disappear

$96.50 + fees for floor 6th row from stage in MN. Not bad compared to the dates announced previously.

Brooklyn looks to be the standard $127.50 + fees.

I wish I was as inconsistent as Mark.

He gave us Dammit, Waggy, Apple Shampoo, Emo, Josie, and Lemmings with Dude Ranch. Don't Leave Me, Going Away To College, WMAA, Adam's Song and Wendy Clear with EOTS. Man Overboard with the live CD. Online Songs, Rock Show, Roller Coaster and Everytime I Look For You with TOYPAJ. The chorus and bridge to Feeling This, 1st verse in I Miss You, Stockholm Syndrome, and Here's Your Letter with Untitled. The whole +44 album. Neighborhoods was a mess so we'll just skip it, plus the Mark only songs in my opinion were his weakest efforts. California I really enjoyed.

I mean am I missing something?

  10. Words mean nothing, time is a circle, the band is failure of success, someone rank track sixes.

Want to elaborate on why you think Mark is inconsistent? Some of your favorite Mark songs? Least favorites?

I’ve always thought Mark is at it best when he pumps out faster and more upbeat/aggressive sounding songs. Just like that list that dude posted above. All faster/more upbeat stuff.

But Travis...that dude is a different breed. He always shows up.

In 2016 they played 4 songs that made air (BTD, WMAA, ATST and Rock Show). Not sure if they played any others for the live crowd afterwards.

From that Rolling Stone Interview...asking about Tom's voice :crylaugh:

Here at the office, we’re fascinated with YouTube clips of your last Blink shows. You’re playing one of those huge festivals, and you’ve changed your singing a lot. You’re singing way differently on those last shows. I was curious what led you to sing in that different voice.
I kind of learned how to use my voice. I never learned how to sing, so I was always trying to sing like the Descendents. When I got in Angel and Airwaves, the tempo was slower, the melodies were written differently. And then, rather than nasally staccato, it became more like violin, more like a stringed instrument. The notes flow together. And then it came naturally to me. I’m not even a good singer. I’m just a little punk kid. I learned how to do this in a garage. So it’s really hard to make that sound good when you’re not even doing it right to begin with, you know? When you’re singing that way, you can’t even hit the notes. You’ll be flat or sharp 80 percent of the time, because the way you slam your vocal chords together on every single word really messes up [the] pitch. So I think for me, it wasn’t even really conscious. It was just what I’ve been doing for years with Angels and Airwaves. It’s the only way I know how to sing now.

Did you get blowback from the guys — “You’re not singing like you do on the records”?
No. I think kids just want it to sound like it did and I don’t blame them. And I probably could. But it seems funny to try and sound like I was 16 again. I’m not. Authenticity is a big deal for me. Be yourself. If you’re not being yourself, then the whole thing is just a play. You’re just putting on a play every night. And I can’t do that; I feel like a robot. I’ve just got to be myself.

What I should have said is that over the band's career I think they have truly only released two great albums from start to finish with those being EOTS and Untitled. Everything else honestly was hit or miss imo. Granted, even though I do think the rest of the band's stuff is hit or miss I still do think they have a few great songs on the each of them.
