People saying they have sold out with BIOMY is hilarious. They have been a pop-band riding with the mainstream since the late 90’s.

It's not a pop punk song until I play louder generic pop punk riffs over it with my generic whiny Youtube pop punk voice!

I prefer the "AVA influenced space rock" covers, TBH. AKA lets get some delay in there!

This would be a huge bummer. Really hope that’s not the case, but I’ll keep my hopes low, ha.

But yeah it’s a great sketch show. Mark’s Instagram story right now where he links to VIP stuff is a screencap from the show

i'm going to combat all the "old style blink 182/Tom Delonge style" covers of new blink songs by going back and doing "John Feldmann style" covers of old blink songs. keep an eye out for my "What If John Feldmann Wrote Not Now" vid coming soon

I also don't think people realize how much muCH MUCH worse it could be. Kinda like that Dashboard Confessional song "Belong" that has finger snapping and an EDM break down.

Don't get me wrong. When I first heard BIOMY I was confused while taking it in because I didn't know what I was listening to, but the more I hear the song the more it sounds like blink-182.

  13. This would not only be hilarious, but I would pay $2 to send ANOTHER chorus user a postcard with a post on it. My immediate reasoning would be a “told ya so” moment but really anything would be hilarious. Hit the ... on a post and hit the postcard store to razz them thru snail mail.

  14. 100% the octave riffs at the beginning would be gang-woahs

Me and my friends mail each other drunk postcards whenever we travel. It's pretty fun.

  16. One time, I tried getting some of my Facebook friends to participate in being post card pen pals with me, but no one wanted to...

Blink could literally make a song that sounds like this & I'd still be happy

I just want them to push their songwriting & melodic creativity like they did on Self-titled, cause BIOMY sounds too safe for me

I would be very, very unhappy if Blink ever sounded like that ^

    Keep on moving. Busy street.

It's funny how a lot of these fans are complaining about the fact that blink are writing youthful songs, claiming that they are "too old", yet they think it's completely fine that they wrote songs about high school on Enema and TOYPAJ despite being almost 30.

Tom was 25 when Enema came out. Mark was 27. Travis was 23. I don’t think it’s unreasonable at those ages to write youthful songs and reminisce about high school.

For the record, I’m not complaining about the current day lyrics. I don’t give a shit what they write about.

  22. My buddy accidentally has an extra sound check upgrade for the 7/31 Houston, TX show in the event anyone here lives round those parts. He’s super bummed he and his wife miscommunication and there’s no refund options.

Let's hold our breath until we disappear

Not to be that guy, but Travis is actually a month older than Tom!

  24. A 25 and 27 writing some of those lyrics is way worse than what’s on BIOMY.

Not to be that guy but Tom was actually 23 when Enema released and they blew up...and you call yourself fans!
