I actually relistened today too for the same reason, and it made me really appreciate that Valkyrie intro. I love how the squelch noise from the two way radio bit becomes a sort of beat that drives the rest of the intro. And that bass line is so good.

 

Would be a better song than BIOMY.

 

Valkyrie Missile is the greatest AvA song and it’s not really close. But that album sucks.

 

Ok I know I said "Blame It On My Youth" is a grower but it really really is, all the people that gave up after the first listen don't know what they're missing out on.

 

nothing from the first two AVA albums would even crack my top 25 of their work tbh

TOYPAJ falls off hard in the second half imo. Shut Up and Give Me One Good Reason are two of their worst songs, and I've always found Roller Coaster and Everytime I Look For You overrated. I still love Reckless Abandon though

 

Oh don’t get me wrong there’s parts of it I like but I feel like it could have been shortened by like...a minute

 

I gave up after listen number 4 or 5. I don't think I'm missing out on anything.

I was trying to make a list of my top 10 least fav Blink songs, and it was way too hard. I could only come up with 7. I like this band.

 

I have listened to BIOMY 34 times and I still love it!
I can't get all the hate around it.
