  1. I was as nice as I can be in responding.

The it’s not Blink crowd annoy me more than most other “complaints” because not only is it definitely Blink, but their output has always had that “blink feel” to it even in songs I didn’t like and their catalog walks a lot of paths over the years and it’s still to me to say this (or Cali) don’t fit in to it.

(And both Blink and Alk3 have had member changes in the past too!)

Tickets for those that missed out!

  3. Honestly it's so much more interesting watching Blink evolve when you look at say, The Offspring, who haven't altered their sound in 25 years and are the *actual* nostalgia act that people are saying Blink has become

I'm not feeling this too much...but still excited for the new album.

The more i listen to the song and break down the pieces to it, the more it sounds like blink.

The very ending reminds me of the ending to Feeling This too.

Although I still don’t think it’s a super strong song as a single given their history with singles, it’s enjoyable and should be a nice breath of fresh air in their live set.

Yeah, I think I'm just biased against mid-tempo songs and 80's synths. Mark's verse is still cheesy as fuck, but I think I was overly harsh on this song at first. It's a pretty standard blink song from a songwriting perspective, and it's admittedly different and cool it's own right.

Why Are We So Broken is very similar, but is just more fun imo because it's faster and more modern pop influenced. So at least I have that. Matt's chorus is great.

  7. Woke up with the chorus in my head.

Also, "How to Live" has really grown on me from Simple Creatures. Might be my second favorite on that EP now.

How to Live rules. Mark really struggled with it when I saw it live, though

I thought "How To Live" had the most potential if they wanted to push something for a try at a hit

I know we’re spoiled right now, but i cant wait until we get more announcements and songs. BIOMY has got me super excited for this era. I guess we’ll get a new song in the next month or so? Haha.

Maybe another new song or music video with an album announcement/preorder?

Idk why we keep posting comments from people like that. Who cares if some people really really hate it?

  24. 90% of the people complaining discovered the band young, while other older "fans" were calling them sellouts for changing their sound and blah blah blah. You'd hope for a little self-awareness about that cycle, and instead of being pretty awful about it, you'd celebrate what that means for a new group of people that get to experience what you did: falling in love with music, falling in love with a band that moves you, discovering something that's "yours" so uniquely. If they mean anything to you, you'd think you'd want to embrace sharing that with new fans and/or a new generation.

Bands aren't toys you put on a shelf. They're not put in plaster and cast for eternity simply because you found them when you were a teenager. They're people. They grow; they change; they are more than you.

  25. No, this affects me personally and therefore I am going to complain.
