I'd like to think the tension in the band made these performances what they were. They really were at the top of their game.

All I want from this new record is some lead guitar. California blew it in that department as vocalizing is a poor substitute.

 

It's so good until Travis steamrolls it by playing super fast. I remember that being incredibly annoying seeing them live and the band having trouble keeping up with Travis's pace.

 

No leak yet and work starts NOW! Hopefully we’ll have the song by lunch time (here in Sweden) so I won’t have to go the whole afternoon reading the discussion going on in here without having heard it

 

Yeah they really seemed focused during this tour to try to give their best performances musically.

 

I still can't believe they haven't played "Left Alone" live considering it's their best written song in the Skiba era.

 

And if I went to a blink show again, I dont know the deep cuts... My kids might. I know the hits. I want to dance with them to the hits I know. I could learn the new songs, or the deep cuts, but I just, can't, really, take the time. I know the radio plays.

Its the bonding for me, than the music :/

 

seeing how they play with several backing tracks i'm sure that the speed of the songs is pre-determined and has nothing to do with Travis' pace.
