I've never had an issue with the opening/ co-headlining bands when I've seen them. Midtown, New Found Glory, All American Rejects, My Chemical Romance, Jimmy Eat World, Green Day, Fall Out Boy, Asher Roth, All Time Low.

 

was there a tour that had Panic, My Chem, and Blink? I feel like I saw that but maybe I'm making it up

I remember Mark trying to trick people into liking Chester French. I tried - they just weren't my cup of whiskey.

IIRC he wasn't the only one accused of shit, and there's been various other things over the years at this point (sexism and ableism come to mind as the stuff I saw last).

 

Not sure about Panic, but the rest was the 2011 Honda Civic Tour: blink, MCR, and my date also had Manchester Orchestra.

 

The singer also had allegations against him of some kind iirc. In addition to some sexist stuff he tweeted about a couple years back. Not a great dude.

 

Panic was on the first reunion tour with Fall Out Boy for the front half. Back half was TBS and Weezer.

 

I saw Matt and Kim and My Chem open for blink. That was a great show. Bummer that neck deep article has a bunch of dead links. Any update since the band “needed time to process” or whatever the fuck that meant?

 

As far as I’m aware, they never addressed it again. The whole thing reeked to me of them coming to a mutual agreement with Lloyd that he would take the fall so they could carry on.

Edit: that isn’t supposed to read like Lloyd is a victim, for the record. He’s a piece of shit and deserves nothing.

 

Oof. I like some of their stuff too. Been out of the news cycle lately. :/

Last summer when I saw them, Atlas Genius opened and that is a band that I had never heard of before and never heard of since that day

 

There's been so many accusations against bands and the same shit happening that trying to find the Neck Deep stuff again first had me finding the With Confidence stuff because I can't keep it all straight in my head.

Great music scene.

 

I think that’s one of those bands they play on KROQ all the time. I don’t listen to KROQ but that definitely a band name i know.

 

They toured with Andrew McMahon a few years back, too.
