I know they've written 40-50+ songs for this album so far, and they're in the mixing stages now (even though they're still writing), but I wonder if they're mixing all of the songs they've written (assuming they recorded all the songs they wrote), or if they've chosen a batch of 20 or so to pick from.

 

Next deluxe is a triple album, mixing them all

 

Pretty sure by "mixing" they mean that they're going to send it through John Feldman's Feldytron Mixograph 5000 & Tonic Solution © to automatically handle all mixing needs turning the songs to metallic lifeless sounding mixes now complete with Oohs and Naas for every track!

 

Yeah-- I've said this before, but: Feldmann is a great producer, yet California still sounded like a plastic-y mess.

Compare "Home Is Such A Lonely Place" to "The Strays" by Sleeping With Sirens, or "She's Out Of Her Mind" to "Something's Gotta Give" by All Time Low. Like the Cali songs just miss the extra punch

 

I always really like the mixing on most Feldman projects. The tones, however, sometimes leave me cold

 

i'm almost certain that i would love the shit out of California if the guitars sounded better.

 

Finished my blink wall. Autographed guitar. 2009 reunion poster. Home town show poster. Autographed AVA poster from when I ket them in 2006 at their first show in NYC, signed +44 pink 7 inch, and a picture I took with Mark in 2004 at a +44 show. Starting to look like my dream home lol.

 

I definitely want to take the time to get some of my stuff professionally framed. It looks so good man.

Need more time to really sit down and plan it out. And talk to my girlfriend about how much wall space will be affected haha.
