I’m a few days late but the beat in ‘Adrenaline’ is insanely catchy. If the new blink record sounds anything like it I’ll be so damn happy.

 

Strange Love is still my favorite.

I love the fact that All Time Low started out as a blink cover band and now Alex has a band with Mark. That is every punk kid's fairytale come true.

 

Or how much Mark loves The Cure and he has a song with Robert Smith

I wonder if Mark’s ever written songs that are a continuation of another song idea from one album to the next. Similar theme that he’s carried on. Like a loose story. Would be cool if he brought back song ideas from +44 just to give a nod to the past or something.

 

"Lucy" clip is out as well.

Not sure about this one so far... I dig the second half of the preview, the first one (the chorus) not really...

 

I almost keep waiting for these songs to get heavier/aggressive like +44 but they never do. I realize that's not the intention of this project, but I think I've just been conditioned to want that style from Mark. haha.

To your second point - I've thought about that before. Sort of like when he says the name Josie at the beginning of "Online Songs". It's literally just one word, but it sort of adds a sort of running theme through multiple songs which is cool.

 

Or the use of Holly in All Of This and Easy Target, as well as a similar sound

 

That’s true, I guess. I just usually think of those as two halves of the same song haha

It just occurred to me that in interviews Skiba has said he ghost writes for other bands but I've never been able to find out what bands he did it for.
