50 songs is a lot.

 

Yeah, they'll definitely pair that down to 12-16 by the time the album is released.

 

Wonder if they'll do another deluxe a year later and release another 10 or so

 

With a 12 song deluxe double album in 2020?

WE ARE GETTING CLOSER

 

They definitely didn’t just take it easy on California, plus doing a deluxe version. The two joke songs were at least short too.

 

Those joke songs definitely had the best guitar parts on the entire album.

 

Musically enjoyable. Vocally good. Lyrically, just felt like an inside joke.

 

hopefully they put the best songs on the standard album tracklist this time :O

 

For me I really like California. Great album but the deluxe devalues it for me. The deluxe is the first album from them I don’t think is good.

wait really? most of my favourite songs from that era are on the deluxe edition lol

 

Same. It had the best songs of the era but also some of the worst songs they’ve ever made (other than joke songs and some really early stuff)

They don't top Bored, Cynical, Left Alone or San Diego but I'm super happy they put out both releases
