Tom was my favorite member for a lot of reasons, but mainly because he always knew how to use the tasteful sex jokes, while Mark never graduated past scatological humor, & that fake album cover basically shows how I think about Mark in my mind.

 

Not sure I’d describe Tom’s sense of humor at any point in his life as “tasteful”

No no that was early on and he graduated to tasteful piss fetishes

I think we can all agree that "tasteful" isn't a word that would describe any of the three of them

 

If they continue to release new albums there will be new younger generation of fans who always associate Blink 182 as Mark/Travis/Matt’s band first.

 

Just like when Travis became established. This kinda just blew my mind a little bit.

 

Until Mark.Is.Out to do Simple Creatures full time.

 

Haha...that’s why I said if the continue to release new albums.

You never know, Matt could end up being on more full lengths than Tom by the end of it.

 

I was around for the Scott era....and back when Travis was the “new guy”. Well that went well for the band and Travis. He definitely established himself a precense in music.

 

I hope Mark keeps Simple Creatures around after this initial release(s) and keeps +44 where he left it. Let the +44 legacy be and get weird with Simple Creatures while Blink keeps things going strong.

Paying homage to +44 with Simple Creatures would be cool, but another +44 release should not happen. Same for BCR.

 

He's probably never going to be in the same headspace as when he wrote the +44 album so yeah, just leave it as a one-off

 

Yeah I agree but I also really hope I hear at least ONE +44 song live someday

 

Only reason I’d ever want +44 again is to hear that “Mark In Studio Demo #1”

 

I hope Mark dresses up and wears makeup for simple creatures shows. Mainly bc he loves Robert Smith so much. That’d be the best.

 

Exactly why I never want there to be another BCR album. I can't imagine 2019 Tom writing a 2002 BCR song.

 

I sure can imagine him trying though.

 

Tom's thought process would be: "let me take the guitar riffs from (insert any Box Car Racer song), add spacy sounding background noises, make the intro at least 3 minutes long, write lyrics about changing the world while doing random yodeling through the song, make the outro 2 minutes long with even more spacy sounding background noises, then I will get bored of doing this and go post some old blink-182 pictures on IG talking about what I'm doing right now and how I'm still the same punk rock skater kid and my songs will be super fast punk rock sounding".

 

I love Tom, but this hits the nail on the head.

 

This video took so long because of the Smirnoff product placement. This probably isn’t facts, but I’m going with it.
