They need to start playing 2 hour sets. 1:30 is no where near long enough.

 

Especially when they keep putting out new albums

 

They need to do some shows where they don’t play any singles lol

 

Remember those club shows where they played California in full?

And remember those Vegas shows where they only played throwback sets?

 

I don’t really like TOTTM. I feel like it’s one of the weaker tracks along with California and Teenage Sattelites. All 3 of those songs just scream filler to me.

 

They’ve never played shows that long so I can’t see why they would start now. I think the longest show they ever played was like an hour and twenty four minutes. They have averaged approximately an hour ten minutes since they started headlining shows in 1998.

 

I’m just hoping for something that feels fresh and exciting again. Maybe that’s too much for me personally to ask for at this point from Blink, considering my music tastes have largely moved on from pop punk... but I do still have a lot of love for this band, and I have hope that they can surprise me again.

I just made a playlist of the longest Vegas setlist and it was 74 minutes

 

I agree 100%. Thats why I love it so much. It's probably the most throwback sounding song on the album and so happy it's on there haha.

 

Maybe they pushed an hour and a half but no way was it 2 hours. They played 25 songs which was like 2 or 3 more than they normally do.

And yes I agree Matt was the best part of TS.

 

TS reminds me so much of TOYPAJ, but it took me a while to appreciate it/ like it, because I was always pretty blinked out by the time it would reach that track on the album.

I think that’s why I’m not a huge fan of that song. If I’m listening to California straight through I hit a wall right after HISALP and don’t really recover outside of Left Alone and San Diego.

Whilst that true, with the amount of material they have (and will be about to have) it would be nice to squeeze a few more in.
You watch (I know... different genres) these prog bands from the 70s with guys 60/70 playing three hour sets or even Bruce still doing what he does and yet blink are still happy with just about pushing 1:30. Travis is the only one who has to do something reasonably complex during the set.

 

2 hours would be nice but I’d like if they even did the standard hour and a half that most bands their size do. They play for 70 minutes.

 

Hey I completely agree with you but this is something the band has never done so I'm not expecting them to do so now. I'd love for them to play for over an hour and a half or longer.
