    Die rad.

TDW is still great. WDNTW was so good when it came out, especially the adventure. Still gives me goosebumps. Had some amazing songs, but then got boring. I Empire is the same. I never liked Love albums and overlooked them until 2 years ago and now I find them to have decent songs. Put the two together and take out the crap for one solid album. The EPs believe it or not are actually pretty good too. I personally look forward to another AVA album over Blink. Not that I dislike California cause Im actually one of the supporters of it, but with The Dream Walker, Chasing Shadows, and Of Nightmares I really look forward to where Tom goes cause that direction was great.

  2. When I google "mark hoppus" the question "who died from the band Blink-182" pops up lol

  3. I finally posted all of the Blink bootlegs I have!

If you have any that I am missing (or AVA/+44/BCR) then PM me links and I will get them uploaded as well.

    Enjoy!

Mark's in the studio recording vocals according to his IG account. He tagged blink-182's account so I'm going to assume it's for the new blink album. Also tagged Feldy but no Travis or Skiba (who's on tour again).

I wonder if Travis is able to drum a little bit. Just not the amount that touring requires. I feel like there's nothing you could do to stop him from doing at least some drumming, he'd probably go crazy lol

Might even just need to program beats for now and then knock them all out when he heals

  7. For some reason I always imagine blink laying down tracks to the “Photobooth” intro beat when they talk about using programmed drums.

I feel like a lot of Travis' IG stories have been about being in studios the last few months. Granted I don't ever remember any of the pictures being of him drumming. He was recently in a music video with someone I honestly don't remember who that he did drums on.

I bet, like you said, he's been drumming on the side but not going all out like he would have to if he was touring. So perhaps they have some rough ideas from him they are going by. Who knows though. Blink is suppose to play shows in Vegas in 17 days so will be interesting to see if they end up playing.

Listening to some Motion City Soundtrack for the first time in a while. Wonder if Mark will ever go back to producing, feel like he did a good job with those couple of records he did with them.

  11. Mark has produced some of my favorite albums -- CTTM especially -- but I never thought that he really nailed down a specific style or voice with his production.

I guess that's fair, but I also think that's probably a combination of not really having enough of a catalogue to experiment or nail down his "voice", and also to do with giving the band he's working with freedom to express their own voice and style and him adapting to it, rather than the other way around.

  13. Mark produced that new Amy Shark song, "Psycho." But yeah, he should do more full album production. CTTM is so good!

  14. Not Without a Fight is one of my favorite NFG records. So good.

Sometimes I wonder if it's bias why I like Mark's two MCS records the most but I forget he did NWAF which is among the bottom NFG albums for me lol

I think he’s stated in the past that he really doesn’t have the time anymore and the cost of producing isn’t worth it for him (not sure if he meant the cost of making an album in general or the cost it would take to get him to produce).

I think this might have been posted in this thread before... but bad autotune effect aside, Balancing the Different could pass for Tom...

    not a doctor

This is absurd. I remember hearing this a while ago and feeling like I was transported to another dimension where Tom DeLonge was actually someone my age in a struggling local band.

Apparently Mark and Travis unfollowed Feldy on IG. Seems they did but it probably doesn’t mean anything
