In all seriousness, they really should consider a farewell soon. I love Mark still, I really do, but I kind of think he's lost his touch. I know this is going to be a unpopular opinion.

Take a break for a few years until Tom is ready to come back.

 

I personally would love for them to really look at their best lyrical work and just take time to get back into that kind of headspace. I know you can't force creativity and maybe those songs were just the right thing at the right time. That (+44) is probably Mark's best lyrical work.

 

Between Travis and Matt co-signing and shouting out abusers I’ve cooled considerably on wanting to hear anything from the first band I love and it bums me out. Lost Kanye and blink, it hurts.

 

When Your Heart Stops Beating will go down as Mark Hoppus’s best work.

 

Fuck that. I’m all for a farewell album, but Tom needs to stay the hell away.
