Sorry if I don't put much weight into the opinion of someone who can't stand Alkaline Trio lol

Probably doesn’t have a certain unnamed, alien loving, “creative driving force” in the band.

 

You guys can bash all you want, but blinks best work is with TOM. I don’t agree with him and how he acts, but the bottom line is they need him.

Um almost everybody in here thinks blink's best work is with Tom. I love Cali and in no way do I think it's better than Dude Ranch or Untitled.

You realize the Tom that was capable of writing songs of that quality is looooong gone... and doesn't even want to write blink songs. So ignore Matt-era blink if you want but it's not like there's a blink with Tom if Matt didn't join. We'd be going on about the 8th time Tom blew off studio time lol jesus.

Everything aside I really do miss Jerry Finn. Not because Blink as better with him- none of that. I just listened to Crimson for the first time and I just absolutely adore his sound and style.

 

Wish people gave him his due when he was alive.

Got shit on for "ruining" MxPx and AFI and Alkaline Trio back in the day.

 

Yeah it sucks. Blink, Trio and AFI I'd do anything to hear where those bands continued with him.

 

I'm in the minority (I guess) that likes the albums all those bands have done without him and like when bands shift it up and try new producers and new things to find new elements in their sound. For example, I think Gil Norton's work on Burials is incredible.

 

Oh I mean I have liked pretty much everything else by everyone. I think I'm in a minority that really likes Crash Love for instance hah. Burials was really good too. Especially with blink and Trio though he evolved them in a really great way so I can't help but wish to see where he went with them both, he was just perfect for them I thought.
